My German Shepherd Loves It!
I was looking for an inexpensive remote control toy that I could test with my 4-year-old German Shepherd since she REALLY likes to chase squirrels. These dogs are so smart that it can be a challenge to keep them entertained sometimes. She absolutely LOVED it! She was all over it - talking, batting at it, chasing it. Her favorite thing to do with it is pick it up by the tire and run with it.That being said, this is definitely supervised play only if you have a dog, especially an 85 lb. very athletic one like mine. It already has a small puncture in the body of the toy from when she discovered she can grab the body of it with her mouth if she goes at it just right (it fits perfectly in her mouth which is kind of funny). Again, I wasn't looking for a toy that could stand up to her play style since I only wanted to test and see how she reacted to it. So, for what I was looking for, this thing performed perfectly.I was actually pleasantly surprised at how well it has held up. We've done 2 play sessions with it and I look forward to doing several more. It looks like it will last a little while as she is more focused on the tires than the body of the car now that she has figured out she can pick it up that way. It's no where near fast enough to give her a decent chase but it if I hold her back and give it a head start it isn't too bad (I'll eventually invest in one that is bigger and able to give her more of a challenge). I'm kind of excited about the idea of working on some impulse control training with this since getting her to sit still long enough for it to go even a foot has been a challenge.Anyway, super happy with this. I hope this is helpful for anyone else looking for something fun for their dog.

Great Little Car
My 4 year old son told us that he'd like to get a remote control car for Christmas, so naturally I came to Amazon to start reading product reviews. This one caught my eye because of the bright colors that will make it easily seen while playing outside. Upon reading reviews, I found there wasn't much people didn't like about this car and it was stated that younger children easily adapted to using the controller. I decided it would be a great fit and purchased it while the seller was offering a discount coupon.I recieved my package a few days ago and played around with it to make sure it worked. I have to say this little car is fun and quick and I have yet to get it stuck due to the unique design. It does require 4 AAA batteries for the car and 2 AA batteries for the controller, both not included. It does state to turn the car on before the remote so the remote can connect to the car properly. I made sure to do this and had no issues with it. As another reviewer stated, the controller is a bit tricky to get used to. It took me a few minutes playing around with it before I got the hang of it. For me, turning was the trickiest part. I have yet to give it to my son, but I feel that he won't have an issue figuring this out.Since it's a gift and I haven't played with it enough for it to know, I'll edit my post about battery life.**I will note that we use Duracell batteries.**So far, I'm very pleased with this car and at this point would purchase as a gift for friends/family or recommend someone else to purchase it.

Even good for toddlers! Get rechargeable batteries tho!
My 18mo old baby recently got to play with an RC car my cousin had & loved it! So I decided to get one for him. Being that he’s so young I needed one that’s durable, and one that is easy enough for a very small child to handle & control by remote. Also we have mostly carpet so I needed one that wouldn’t get hung up on the carpet. Since this one is driveable on its top & bottom it makes it pretty easy to control because if it gets stuck it flips itself over. It has a high clearance & Offroad tires so the carpet isn’t an issue & the beefy tires makes it so it can climb up a wall to flip itself over or over small toys. It also doubles as a toy just to play with if your kiddo wants to just play with it as a car when it’s turned off (like rolling it by hand on the floor/couch/whatever).My only complaint is the batteries in it (the car not the remote) do seem to die pretty quickly even if you’re good about turning the car off after use, so if you buy this I’d recommend getting rechargeable batteries (AAA for the car itself).

Durable with long battery life
We bought this remote control car along with another similar one (in a different color from a different manufacturer). This car has lasted 4 months with a 4 year old who likes to throw it around. The other we purchased did not last. So we ended up ordering two more of these. One to replace the other brand we had bought for our 6 year old. And another because they are so popular out our house we wanted a third for when the cousin visits. These are not anything like the remote control cards I had as a kid. Those never lasted. I never expected a product at this price point to have such longevity and durability. The kids drive it through mud, run it into things and are generally rough on it (they even gave the cars a pit stop and took off the tires and put them back on again). We need to recharge the battery on these after 3-4 hours of play. Which ends up about once a week for us. The kids have been playing with these since Xmas and the interest has not let up. The younger just moves the controls around without really knowing what he is doing but the 6 year old has learned how to navigate which requires a more sophisticated hand control and understanding of how to use each side of the control. He figured it out on his own over months of play and that was real fun to watch him discover how to control the car through play.
