Exactly what I needed!
After getting by with an "analog" torque angle gauge for a long time, I finally went in on a digital one. I suppose time will tell whether the investment was worthwhile, but initially, wow, what a difference. With so many TTY fasteners on engines these days that require an angle and not a torque value, this tool turns otherwise tedious jobs into painless ones - especially on head gaskets where there is typically a 2 or 3 phase procedure. Run the first two torque to value phases, then change modes to angle and run through the third.I have also really enjoyed the programmable values... I can go through the factory manual for any given job and program a series of values and avoid having to refer back. Just program in the values for, say, the head, then the intake manifold, then the exhaust manifold, then the valve cover. Saves big time, and prevents me from getting my books (or my laptop!) dirty. :)I *believe* this tool is made by Eclatorq in Taiwan, and it's sold worldwide under various different names. In the US, it's sold by Stanley under the Proto brand for 50% more. If you read the product manuals and watch the YouTube videos, you'll see it's very likely the same thing. I'm always hesitant buying expensive tools from unknown brands but so far so good. Plus, I'm not a professional - this tool will not be used every day (although it will be used several times a month) - so I really don't need that ultimate durability. Just something that will perform 100 times over a few years is enough for me.

This made TTA head bolt installation very easy.
As others noted, take a few minutes to read the manual and learn the menus. After that, it's a breeze to use.Installed two GM heads with TTA bolts that use three different angles on various bolts. This gage let me quickly jump to different settings as needed which made the final torqueing easy.Well worth the money.

Awesome
I own a repair shop and been looking for an angle meter and when I found this one I was very impressed with it very accurate works great the only thing I can say is definitely read the instructions for the setup but once you get to that point you'll love it

As a torque wrench, this has shortcomings.
I purchased this because the mfg said it had a high degree of accuracy. It may be accurate (I didn't calibrate it), but I found this product very cumbersome to use. 1. On each power-up cycle it goes thru a calibration process that takes a long time. Four zeros display for at least 30 seconds before the product can be used. And, if you accidentally press the wrong button, it starts the calibration process all over again. I can't waste time like that. 2. The instructions were clearly written by someone whose native language is not English. They are difficult to understand. 3. The product is bulkier than I expected and requires a ratchet extension to use for many applications. 4. Batteries are not included. Granted, they're just two AAAs, but for almost $200 I'd expect them to provide batteries. I sent the product back.
