Ingenious! Deadly!
Fantastic! Been matching wits with a mouse (maybe more) for weeks. It licked peanut butter off 4 wooden snap traps, and one of the new fangled metal traps with powerful springs. Put down sticky traps next to the snap traps. The mouse got on the sticky pad, pulled it over, set off two snap traps and escaped. Saw this Amdro trap on Amazon. Nothing else was working, so gave it a try. The rubber bands--they call them "rings"--are thick and strong. To set the trap, you have to roll the rubber band onto the cone-shaped mechanism. The first time was quite difficult, but I figured out how to do it. Set it out last night. First thing in the morning, go down and found the mouse, dead, laying next to the trap. Before finding the dead mouse, I didn't understand how the trap works. I thought the rubber band was snapping a piece of the plastic into the mouse's head. But now I saw the mouse had the rubber band around its neck, tight. The mouse sticks its head into the back of the tube, where the bait is just past the tube end. The rubber band is at the lip of the tube end. The mouse touches the trigger, and the rubber band slips off the tube and onto it's neck! When I saw the mouse, I laughed out loud. How ingenious the design. How perfectly it worked! Better than every other physical killing method I tried. The only downside I can see is maybe running out of rubber bands. But they provide 12 with the trap. In the last 20 years in this house, we've only had 4 or 5 mice, so that should be enough. 5 stars. Couldn't be better! Thanks, Amdro!

Don’t wait order now
Happy is the least I can say. The product definitely held up to the reviews. We’ve been dealing with field mice since we brought our home. We’ve called the professionals and everything. My husband and I are now the professionals. And these are the top of our list. I will say it’s a tiny bit of a struggle to get the rubber bands on. Especially if you’re handling with gloves. But once you get it it’s a walk in the park. And absolutely worth the tiny struggle at first. The best value for your money plus the effectiveness buy it now. Thank you to whomever invented this you definitely was fed up. And I’m grateful you hate them as much as me.

These things don't work
They don't work. I've bought 4 to use in my country farm house. Baited with peanut butter and haven't caught a single mouse. Finally went back to normal traps yesterday and caught 8 mice last night in just the kitchen. Put one of these on a clean kitchen counter and woke to poop in front of the trap but no mouse. I don't know if the tunnel is too scary for them or what, but they definitely aren't working for me. Plus, they are a total pain in the butt to set. Sliding the band down isn't easy, and often right at the end the band goes too far and you have to find it and start over again. Don't buy. "The Better Mousetrap" by Intruder, inc are the best traps I've ever used. Easy to bait, easy to set, easy to dispose of dispatched mice.

#1 Mouse Trap on the market today!
This is the cleanest, no mess, no smell mouse trap I've ever used. I have successfully killed every mouse that had invaded my home and I am well pleased with this product.

A pain to set
They work and have caught a few mice so far with them, but my god are they a chore to set. If you have issues with your hands at all I could not recommend these. Also for people who get freaked out by touching a dead mouse, you aren't going to want these. Unlike a wire trap where you can just fling the mouse out of it, this you'll have to pick up the mouse with your hands or some papertowels before going through the chore of setting the trap again. Also I advise cutting the band off of the mice before you throw them out as to not harm any wildlife that may try and eat the dead mice.

Good quality ease of use
Mice were uninterested in this trap. I didn't catch a single one. It seemed to be functioning as intended and was very easy to bait and set. I had many other brands of trap that didn't fair any better. Just had some really smart mice and had to get more creative to get them.

Very effective mouse trap
This is the most effective mouse trap I've ever used. After receiving the trap, I trapped 5 mice in 5 days. Setting the trap can be a little tricky (sometimes the green band wants to slip off the end) but it's easier then the old wooden traps and the cleanup is A LOT easier. Just grab the dead mouse by the tail, dispose of it and reset the trap. Seems to kill the mice almost instantly. The Amdro trap is a no brainer if you have pets as it cannot be triggered unless something crawls in the tube. Would highly recommend this mouse trap! I only wish they sold refill backs of green bands.

I've tried worse.
While it's not as easy as some of the 'other' traps here on Amazon, the results are better. I recommend not leaving the bait in the little square, I put it all the way in the back, which doesn't allow the mouse to grab the bait as easy. I've had great results.

Works great
It’s hard to set at first but easy once you get used to it. It’s been working great for us! I wish I could order refills of the rings

Buena trampa
Buena trampa, limpia, los mata casi al instante, está dura para colocar pero es efectiva, ratones pequeños, no sirve para ratas grandes.

Will put your eye out!
Thank goodness i wear glasses! I'm a handy guy. And I don't shy away from a challenge. But, after three attempts to arm this trap and getting a rubber band in the face each time, I gave up. The bands (that are supposed to strangle the mouse) are thick and tiny, so they have to be stretched onto the trap to about 10x their size. On all three tries, just as the trap was ready to be set, the bands snapped off and hit me in the face with enough force to land in the next room. The first bounced of my glasses, so I'd hate to imagine what would have happened if it had hit my eye! NOT a better mousetrap.
