Short and sweet: THEY WORK!!I'll start out by prefacing with some details. I am a late 20s male who has always been plauged with sweaty feet. This results in my shoes accumulating "the stank" that we are all so familiar with. This has been an embarrassment all through my adolescene and into adulthood. I've been able to manage the problem with certain products like Carpe Antiperspirant lotions (highly recommend if you have sweaty feet. It's life changing.) and a shoe dryer (another absolutely necessary purchase) shoe smell accumulates overtime the most from sweat being left in your shoes and then you wearing them again before they have fully dried out.While these products and routines have helped to mitigate the issue, overtime my shoes will still accumulate "the stank" I currently work as an Amazon delivery driver so even with drying my shoes every night and using the regiment I created to reduce odor and sweat there just isn't enough I can do when I'm wearing my shoes for sometimes 11 hours straight. Instead of submitting to a life of buying new shoes every 2 months and bringing multiple pairs to work everyday or buying can after can of useless sprays that just mask the scent or create a new even worse concoction, I found these little bags. I read the reviews and I thought surely they aren't as good as people are proclaiming them to be... I was shocked with the results. I put one bag into each of my shoes and tied them up in a shopping bag. After 24 hours the entire aura of smell around the shoes was completely gone. Not just masked over with another scent, GONE. There was the faintest remnant of stank if I smelled directly into the top of the shoe, so I left them again for another 24 hours and as I returned to them the second day there was 0 detectable stank at all. These smell like a pool house. It's chlorine of some sort and whatever it is it's seriously magical. Now instead of buying a new pair of $80+ shoes every 2 months I can just buy a new bag of these odor elimination black magic pouches!!!

This is THE BEST product you will ever purchase for your athlete. I know because it changes my life, and I’m not exaggerating.Here’s how this went down.When I say that my son’s soccer cleats smelled like death, I mean we once tore the laundry room apart looking for the rodent we assumed had died, only to discover that he had started putting his cleats on the shoe rack in there and the smell was coming from them.It was a mix between rotting flesh and cat spray and it once made a pregnant woman vomit. (It was me. I was the pregnant woman.) We could even smell them when they were on his feet!There were many frustrating evening of family members being disgusted with the stinky cleats and him being bummed because he was doing everything he could to mitigate the stench. Ultimately, his cleats had to be kept out in the corner of the garage.New cleats only smelled ok for the first two weeks because he was practicing/playing in them about 25 hours a week.For years we tried deodorizing sprays, odor eater balls, special bags, fans, etc. His feet and other shoes DO NOT stink; just the cleats. I had resorted to soaking them in beach every couple of weeks just to survive the stench.Then I found these deodorizer bags.*And my life changed.*It probably took two days for them to COMPLETELY eliminate the stench. And by ”two days” I mean he put them in at night after practice and took them out the next day to practice, X2.And *poof.* The smell was just GONE.These bags don't just cover it up. They completely remove the stench. There’s no mixing of the smell of death and the smell of deodorizers, which is what usually happened with the sprays and “smelly balls,” as we call them.They do have a faint smell of chlorine, which you can really only smell if you sniff directly into the shoe (which I can do now with NO TRACE of stench), or if the bags and the shoes are enclosed in his soccer bag overnight. It isn’t overpowering. Just slightly noticeable on occasion.He’s been using the same deodorizer bag in each shoe for months and they smell as fresh and nice as brand new cleats! I’ve purchased another pair for my younger son as well, plus some extras to store away in case someone discovers this amazing product and destroys the company to make us all suffer with the stench and the far inferior alternative deodorizers.This is the closest thing to a miracle I’ve ever personally witnessed. This is undoubtedly the most impressive, useful, and functional product I’ve ever bought from Amazon (or at all) for my athlete, and I honestly can’t think if any other product I’ve ever purchased that lives up to its design or intended purpose as well as this one does.I will never stop suggesting these deodorizer bags to other athlete families.Bonus, it’s ridiculously cheap and works longer than even advertised, which is amazing when you’re already paying an arm and a leg for fees and equipment.If you also suffer from the stench of an athlete’s cleats, I highly suggest you order a pack of these and PUT AN END TO YOUR SUFFERING!

These work well and are easy to use. They do make a big difference, but I would say they only last maybe 4 months. They have a chlorine smell to them but I don't mind it. At least chlorine is a "clean" smell and is WAY better than stinky soccer cleat smell!! I have these on subscribe and save so that we can replace them every few months.

These things are great! I wear tennis shoes every day, all day, from the moment I get dressed in the morning until I go to bed at night. Needless to say, my shoes are stinky! I would have to set them outside my door for the night, or my bedroom would stink! I tried deodorizing powders, but they left a build-up in my shoes. I tried deodorizing spray, but they left my shoes wet. I saw these and decided to give them a try. I LOVE them! I've been using them for a couple of months. Every night when I take off my shoes, I slip one of these deodorizers into each shoe, and no more stink! They work so good, that I bought more to put in the bottom of my garbage cans. My bathroom garbage can was so stinky every time I replaced the bag. The bottom of the plastic can was permanently stinky, even when I would clean it. Now, with this deodorizing tube in the bottom of the can (in between the can and the bag), there's no more stink when I change the bag! These things really work! Some people have complained about the smell, but I like the smell. It has sort of a bleach smell, but to me, that smells clean, and I like it. My husband started using these in his work boots (SO awfully stinky!), and now his work boots don't stink. I've noticed that our socks don't stink anymore, either, at the end of the day when we take off our shoes. I am so glad I found these deodorizers! I will be using them forever!
