Is it made in the USA?

The box says it is made in the USA.

What is the size of each 800 sq. ft. box? I'm afraid it's too "thick" for my drawer. Length of 12.5 in. is ok, but is it really 5.5 in "tall?"

To clarify the issue, 5.5 inches in height is not what appeared to be; in fact, it is less than 3 inches in height and the length is 12.5 inches! Therefore, you're okay!

Is it safe to use for boiling for a few minutes? I want to use it for boiling chicken sausages, prior to frying them (of course, without the wrap).
