I wear this size, blue stripe, on my lower legs, and I am a 6ft male. When I have ulcers, it holds dressings in place. When I don't have ulcers it acts as a liner for compression stockings. Any break in the skin stains the bandage and gives me "early warning" to put a dressing on before the wound becomes a problem.Reading comments from people who hve had problems, I think that they need the next size down, the red stripe, because they seem to be using the bandage on their arms. The blue stripe works on lower legs and yellow stripe works if I want to take the bandage above the knee. I hope that is helpful.

There's plenty on the roll and it's great to be able to cut off exactly the size required. Good support. I found it was fine and didn't shrink, as long as you hand washed it. I'd certainly buy again.

Need these for my swollen legs, to go under the elasticated wraps. they do the job.

I just thought this was expensive for what it is. Now I boil and wash so should last a bit longer!
