Vega Warrior Motorcycle Half Helmet with Sunshield/Adjustable Size Dial DOT Half Face Skull Cap for Bike Cruiser Chopper Moped Scooter ATV

I got mine with the Vega helmet with the Patriotic Flag graphics and have received many compliments. The drop down sun shield works fantastic and fits over my Px. glasses. It does not rattle, is easy to use, stays in place, and has great clarity. I am pleasantly surprised at only about $80 how well this Vega Helmet is made. It fits great, and the adjustable headband is awesome when wearing a skull cap or beanie under helmet . I have an HD helmets that the graphic is pealing off after just 3 years that was cleaned properly w/ only warm water. This Vega is as good or better than my HD helmet, IMHO. Bottom line , glad I didn't save a few bucks, (or spend more) and be disappointed in a different brand

Helmet arrived andin excellent condition. I was worried about the sizing because of some of the other reviews I read but I went by their sizing chart and it was extremely accurate. The helmet fit as though it was custom molded for my head. The gloss black was shiny and a very crisp vivid black coating. The fact that this also comes equipped with a quick release chin strap and an adjustable knob in the back is an added bonus. The knob I was concerned beforehand that it was some flimsy exposed plastic piece like a construction hard hat and it is not. It’s out of the way and very a comfortable fit. When adjusting, you can feel it slowly tighten to give an even greater fit. This helmet is well worth the money and I plan on buying another soon. It doesn’t look or feel like a budget helmet and actually looks like it is expensive. I am well impressed. The sun shade is also easy to lower and raise even though I probably won’t use it but it’s nice to have in case I forget my shades. Overall- very impressive and good quality and excellent fit! Highly recommended!

This helmet rocks for the price! I have a full face Motocross style Helmet I wear riding my ATV and dirt bike. In my opinion u should only wear a full face helmet for a motorcycle, atv, dirt bike, etc. I wouldn’t wear a half or even 3/4 helmet on those if you care about yourself at all. Go smash your jaw into the pavement at just 5mph and see how it feels and how many teeth you have left. But in the relative safety of a fully enclosed side by side with roll bars and a 5pt seat harness, a full face helmet is probably overkill. I wanted a lighter half helmet for that purpose but still a real DOT helmet that will save my melon if needed. This works great. To highlight a couple nice features: 1. The twisting adjustment knob at the back is great. Really snugs it up or loosens it as needed. 2. The strap is like a ratcheting with quick release. I hate on my full face helmet how long it takes to put off and on because of looping the strap thru the metal clasps and it’s a pain to quickly take on and off. With this quick setup on this helmet it literally takes half a second to throw your helmet on and off. Very nice. For sizing I might say these run a tad tad small. I normally wear a L helmet. But based on the measurements listed I ordered an XL and it fits great. With the knob at the back you can snug it up. I’d probably say if you are a little unsure what size or in between two sizes, to just go with the larger size. For the price this is a darn good helmet. I might even say it’s the best u can find for the price.

This helmet is good value for the money. Comfortable and light weight, and the quick release chin strap is really nice. This helmet does run a little small. If you are in between sizes, I’d say order the larger size. I ordered XXL when my head measurement falls into the XL sizing. The helmet fits really snug and the adjustable head band loosened up almost all the way. It isn’t quite as “long oval” as my modular and 3/4 helmet made by LS2, and I may have to “form fit” the very front just a little. The sun visor, for me, is useless. Although well made, It absolutely will not fit over my eyeglasses or sunglasses whatsoever. I got the American flag helmet and I do like the graphics. I would have given a full 5 stars had the helmet been a little more long oval and if I could have used the sun visor.

This is an extremely comfortable helmet and I love it! It's made very well and it minimizes the dreaded "mushroom head" typically found on most 1/2 and 3/4 helmets. With that said, it earns a DOT verification for starters that require it. The integrated drop down visor helps the helmet in several ways... 1. Reduces the mushroom look 2. Blocks the sunshine 3. Helps keep debris out of your eyes It's a great minimalist motorcycle helmet. It's also got a quick release chin strap with a tightening adjustment around back of neck similar to better bike helmets. You can fine tune the fit for your specific head. This is my first quick release chin strap and I'll never look back what A BREEZE to remove your hot helmet in one swift motion. The ear pockets for speakers could/should have been standard equipment included with a Vega helmet. They should charge $10 more for the helmet and include the speaker pocket inserts.

Half helmets are lite and really are super for glasses wearers. This Vega helmet is the best of it's style that I have ever owned. I have had a few different brands and pretty much liked most of them. This helmet checks all the boxes with me. Nice feel on the head. Adjustment knob is a great feature, buckling and unbuckling couldn't be easier. Flat black color. What more could you ask for? I bought a pair of Vega ear pads for keeping the wind noise down. Feel great. I'm one happy cruiser!!

The VEGA Warrior motorcycle helmet is the most comfortable, best-fitting helmet I've ever owned. The interior is nicely stitched, hugs your head very securely and keeps you cool. The flip-down shield is nice as it fits over my glasses. Extra shields are cheap and come in Chrome, Smoke and Clear. The quality and features are a step ahead of the rest of the lower-priced helmet competition with glasses-friendly drop-down shield, removable sun visor, and adjustable size. Great value for the price. Highly recommend.

I have several helmets from many different manufactures but this is my first half helmet. Traditionally I go for a modular and my daily use is a HJC IS-MAX II. I found that for my around town rides this was becoming to cumbersome and hot so I researched lighter half helmets and ended up here with the Vega as a good balance of features and cost. It is hard to purchase a helmet online without knowing how it will fit so here is my comparison of fitment (hope it helps someone out there) I ordered a medium from Vega, my HJC is an XL. I have an ILM in medium that fits a touch tighter than this Vega. I ordered this helmet for a handful of specific features, the two primary ones were the sun shield and the removable liner. I wear corrective glasses and don't often get the enjoyment of sunglasses anymore so I really enjoy helmets with tinted visors. That said, as many others have mentioned, the visor is very close to your face and may not offer space for glasses. I happen to wear my glasses fairly high on the bridge of my nose so the visor worked no problem but I did see where this could be an issue. The removable liner was a must. I typically put about 20,000 miles on my bike a year in all kinds of riding conditions, dusty, muddy, hot and cold. I plan to do another tour of the country once the COVID-19 pandemic subsides. Once returning I will be removing the liner and washing it. I am also airbrushing the helmet to make it uniquely mine and the removable liner saves so much prep-work before painting. It does give a bit of mushroom head but given my alternative of nothing protecting my head I'll take it. The good... Replaceable visors: They offer 3 different visors for this, clear, yellow and tinted. Replacing them is very easy, just pull from either side and then slide in the visor you want (instructions should have been included with the helmet instead of making you chase down videos on Vega's website). Speaker ready ear pads. These are an add on but worth mentioning. I love my music and honestly being able to listen to my tunes is the biggest deciding factor for me to put on my helmet. You can order the Vega ear pads or universal ones, I ordered the Vega ones which are cheaper from Vega's website than on Amazon but don't have free shipping or 2 day delivery like on Amazon. Free replacement: Vega offers a free replacement if you are in a crash with the helmet. They offer the email to contact them and you have to send you damaged helmet with a copy of the police report. I have not used this option but believe it shows confidence by the company that they are offering a high quality product that will save your life. On to my problems... The chin strap leaves a lot to be desired. I love the quick release, sadly the strap laid in such a way that I felt choked and super claustrophobic like I've never felt with a helmet. I fabricated a chin strap cushion that slips over the strap. You can purchase them from Amazon, I just happened to have the material and sewing machine handy. This is something that I feel should have been included with the helmet like it is included on many other cheap helmets. The added padding did fix the feeling of being choked. The ugly... There is a screwed on visor on the front of this helmet that almost caused me to return the helmet. It was formed lopsided and crooked. On one side it protrudes about 1/2 an inch and on the other side it comes out over an inch. To make that worse it sits high on one side and low on the other so it does not follow the curvature of the helmet. I initially thought something was wrong with the mold for the helmet itself before realizing it was just a plastic trim issue. Something so small can cause me to question the over all quality of the helmet but that appeared to be the only major "defect" so I removed it. This simple mistake in manufacturing drops this from a 4 star to a 3 star review as it shows a major lack in quality control in the manufacturing process Even with only being able to justify a 3 star rating, I would recommend this helmet for someone looking for a half helmet as long as they understand the pros and cons.
