It works, and it works well
It's so hard to make choices when it comes to razors, and it's quite easy to go down a rabbit hole. I try to avoid the "humblebrag" reviews, where someone name drops 7 different razors they have and how this one or that one would be good for Tuesdays or Thursdays. So here's my review from someone with ONE razor.1) This is not an expensive razor. It was like $15. That means it's not a big gamble and I'd prefer buying this new than buying a used 50 year old razor from someone else. Take a chance on it.2) Double edge safety razors work better than those disposables with 5 blades in them. The double edge razor blades are dirt cheap ( I purchased a pack of 100 for less than $10), they are very sharp, and they last me for a week easily. So that pack of 100 should be good for 2 years.3) This is a twist-to-open or butterfly razor, and honestly they are easier than the other 2 designs (2 piece and 3-piece). It won't open accidentally or anything.4) Razor has a nice grip, and handle is plenty long enough. Keep in mind that unlike the 5 blade nightmare you are ditching, you do not press this against your skin - literally the weight of the razor itself is enough. I hold it between my thumb and first two fingers.5) This is one of the less-aggressive safety razors. I started shaving when I was in 7th grade (a long time ago) and this razor works great for me. I see no need for one of the more aggressive ones, and feel that just increases my chances of cutting myself.6) While this is a good "beginner" razor, it's also a good forever razor. It's a little more user friendly than some other ones, but for 95% of the people out there, it's all you'll ever need. Feel free to struggle with a less-friendly and more expensive one if it'll make you feel more secure about yourself.7) This gets it done cheaply and efficiently.

Wow! Excellent Shave!
I decided to go back to razors; and, my girlfriend sent me this WEISHI Safety Razor; and, I am so happy that she did.I immediately gave it a try after reading the directions.I never used this type of razor system; so, I made sure I followed the shaving instructions; and, one of the key ways to use the WEISHISafety Razor, is to let the WEISHI Safety Razor go against your skin at its own weight — if needed, apply only a small amount of pressure from your hand. Applying too much pressure from your had will result in cuts and/or razor burn. So, I let the weight of the WEISHI Safety Razor go against my skin, with slight pressure from my hand, as I stroked the WEISHI Safety Razor against my skin. It was a great experience for me — close shave, not cuts, easy to use, and my skin feels so soft. The WEISHI Safety Razor is well-built and well-designed. The butterfly design makes it is easy to remove and install the blade. The WEISHI Safety Razor has a nice weight and heft to it for easy movements against your skin with very little pressure for a clean and smooth shave.I like the color, and the handle is easy to grip while wet.The WEISHI Safety Razor looks and feels like great. It’s a quality product that does the job well — especially, shaving close to the nose area — the design and location of the blade enables me to get the stubble near the opening of my nose.Great product, WEISHI. I’m very happy with it./s/ Alfonso Faustino

A cheaper, better, more eco-conscious shave
I love this! Was considering a Leaf razor as I’ve increasingly become more conscious of the amount of unnecessary waste we all create. I decided to try this given its so significantly cheaper. I ordered the platinum (Astra?) blades to use with it. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! First of all, the shave is so significantly closer and cleaner than the shave you get with those multi-blade plastic razors. Why did we EVER (as humans) start using the plastic crap? Second, these razors are not as scary as I thought they were. I’ve nicked myself a couple times so subtly that I didn't even feel it and only noticed later. There’s no reason to fear these razors at all. Just watch a 2 min how-to video. Third, the money you’ll save is insane! No more buying those expensive replacement cartridges! And finally - zero waste. The blades are recyclable so you’re not generating waste for the entirety of your shaving life.Seriously don’t hesitate to make the switch. It’s a better shave for less money and kinder to the environment.
