These are the best ones you can get I wouldn't too much recommend another kind unless you have to get something different but these are the best ones they sell perfect tight I love them not my first or second bye and will not be my last worth every penny.

I purchased these lids to use for canning tomatoes, and for making salsa from my garden. They fit on a wide mouth canning jar. They seal well and are leakproof when canning or using a pressure cooke. After opening the salsa, I stick them in the dishwasher and reuse to keep nuts and bolts in the empty canning jar.

My order was going to be too late to get any canning done, but I decided I would take the chance and maybe the supplies would arrive early. And they DID arrive early. I was able to complete all the canning for this season without losing any unprocessed foods. 11 canning days straight for this year, and I have to thank Amazon for this.

I love pickles. I particularly like Golden Onion and Cauliflower Pickles. Unfortunately I cannot buy them at the store; I suspect the fact that I created the recipe is part of the reason. I started buying jars at the thrift store and just purchasing rings and lids, but I prefer large-mouth jars for pickles and the jars at the thrift store are almost all week or so. So I ordered these and another two or three dozen in a different order. So far I have made two boxes of pickles and I expect I will make several more. The fact that onions and cauliflower are usually available at any time of year helps. If you are caning, pickling, or jelly-making for one or two, you want these jars.
