JBU by Jambu Women's Alicante Wedge Pump, Black, 10 M US

This is a great shoe for me! I'm only 55 but have terribly painful feet due to Lyme disease induced arthritis and neuropathy. Shoes hurt. I wore these all day today, out if the box, no socks/hose and my feet felt great. Perfect for me.Quite boring to buy the same shoe in multiple colors but I'm going to do that. No pain and fairly decent looking shoe wins the day for me.True to size and decent price as well.

The shoe is super cute. BUT the sole is hard plastic; and therefore LOUD when walking on uncarpeted floors, not to mention slippery/hazardous on uncarpeted floors (for example restrooms). I never ever would’ve guessed the sole was plastic. Definitely resembles a nice rubber sole in photos. I’m disappointed. Description incorrectly states rubber sole AND states non slip grip. Neither is true.

The souls are not rubberized on these shoes. They are like a hard plastic with a tiny bit of slip resistant tape on them that wore off after the first few days. They are constructed nicely but i am disappointed in the souls. They are hard and not comfortable like my other pair of Jambu. Inserts may help but the shoe is on the small side. The strap is not long enough for tall arched feet. I have it on the last tiny piece of velcro to get it to stay on.

I had to buy this a size up. Very comfortable. Jambu shoes usually require a painful wearing in period after which they are the best thing you’ve ever had on your feet. This shoe however fit fine right away, but is not as comfortable as others I’ve had before. Still I would definitely recommend it. It could have better arch support. People have complimented me on these shoes. I wear them with dresses and pants. The heel is good for some back problems, and the shoe is generally supportive. I use this pair for generally walking around shopping, errands, casual social activities or work if there’s not too much standing. I use them for almost everything unless I need a fancier pump, or trainers. If you want a comfortable shoe that’s not horribly ugly this is probably the one. Plus they usually last for years. Orthopedic shoes that aren’t embarrassingly hideous, and don’t look like you stole them a 90 year old. And something about them being eco-friendly. Yea!

I wanted to like these shoes so much.They're cute, have a comfortable heel height and are super comfy to walk in.However! The strap across the instep of the foot was too small for me and I don't think I have a particularly fat foot.I never thought my instep was particularly high but this strap was way too tight for me which made my foot feel like a sad sausage.I ended up returning these shoes but I wish they had worked out.

Good rich burgundy color. Sole felt a little slippy at first, but scored the bottom on some cement and they were fine. Fit well---wore them 8 hours straight out-of-the-box and did great. Only compaint is that they are noisy. It is a weird noise too. They make a sort of....okay I will just say it....'foot fart' noise with every step. Very disconserting. And a little embarrassing. I am a HS teacher...the last thing I need is to make a 'foot-fart' noise with every step I take down a school hallway. Will keep them and hope it subsides.

This is a pretty cute shoe that is also comfortable. The sole is solid so it is louder than anticipated but not bothersome. I bought a half size up and it was perfect for me. I’d like to purchase other colors.

These shoes run about 1/2 size small. I know this because I've bought 4 pair of JBU shoes. I love them. Wear JBU most every day. These haven't hear my feet at all. Wore them to our son's outside wedding. They were perfect! Would recommend to everyone!
