Really like the fact that this ZHOU Garlic with Allicin does not affect my stomach in any way.

Update of the below, a few months later in June: It seems to work for BP! Have combined it with hibiscus tea 3x day, daily exercise, stress reduction, and diet changes (see earlier comment below) plus "Fruit & Veggies" by Balance of Nature (you can google it). Latest BP readings are in range of 115/70. Down from high of 166/90 in January (average 145-150/80-85). No meds! Garlic is supposed to be good for other things besides BP, like blood thinning and antibiotic properties. Great product. From winter 2018: I believe this product is effective. I can actually feel the expansion of my vascular system (a mild "burning" sensation) in different parts of my body after taking a pill. Have been following a strict regimen since I found out I have a blood sugar/blood pressure issue that has been affecting my kidneys (moderately elevated BP with spikes and a GMR in diabetic territory, some protein in urine). The whole regimen seems to be working well, average BP is 20-30 points lower on top, had a few perfect BP days recently 120/75 average (down from 150/85). Brew hibiscus tea (Frontier organic, from Amazon) -- 7 cups water to 9 tbsp. hibiscus flowers, boil for 10 minutes then let sit for at least an hour, drink 3 times a day 6 ounces hot or cold. Hibiscus is recommended by doctors, can do the same as BP meds for moderately high BP. I usually take the garlic pill, 2x a day, with hibiscus. Also, exercise (mostly walking and some stretching) 4-5 times a week, cut out all sweets and most bad carbs (except on Easter!), eating way more fruits and vegetables, cut out black tea and coffee, now drink two cups green tea a day. Mostly cut out alcohol, may drink 1 glass of red wine on weekends and when out to dinner. Also, deal with stress, find out how to manage it. This regimen could take 6-8 weeks to kick in. Book titled "The Blood Pressure Hoax" has some good info on diet especially, heavy on supplements that you may or may not need though. You do not want to be taking BP meds unless your BP is extremely high, and in that case hopefully you can wean yourself off or cut down in the future using natural means. I hope this helps someone. p.s. fish oil is also part of my regimen -- Coromega, which can be ordered more cheaply from Amazon, two packets a day.

Have bought this many times. Definitely makes me feel good. Little pricey but you're getting good ingredients and allicin. Beware of the cheap garlic pills that have highly refined soybean oil.

As advertised seems very potent

The tablets are easy to swallow, which is always a plus. This supplement contains allicin, which is what you want in a garlic supplement. I can't chew on garlic to gain the allicin. The best I can do is slice it & tape it to the bottom of my feet, this works well for an ear infection, but not when you get an infection in your GI. I am a Crohn's patient with a compromised immune system. I have used this supplement in conjunction with vitamin C to clear up GI infections, bronchitis & tooth infections. This supplement never upsets my gut & I've never had to to take it longer than 2 weeks. I was forced to get the flu shot this year & still got the flu. Even with a compromised immune system, I fully recovered from the flu without any prescribed medication. I used this supplememt, vitamin C, water & homemade chichen noodle bome broth soup. My son is now using this supplement to heal tooth & gum infections while we save the money to get his teeth fixed. The dentist didn't think my son would last 3 months with as bad as his teeth were. It's been 5 months & although we've only been able to afford to repair 3 of his teeth, the 2 teeth that were so rotted & infected they needed pulled that day are not showing any signs of infection now, his gums are all cleared up & what the dentist said at the last visit was to keep taking the supplements he's on because they are working & if they keep working & this is one of the supplements. I purchased 1 bottle of this garlic & when it was gone, I bought a different brand. I couldn't tolerate the other brand. My son took it for 4 days & quit because he got GI upset himself & burps with a gross taste. I reordered this garlic & this will be the staple one for my family, next to the raw garlic in ways I can use it. Cooking with garlic is not good enough because heat destroys the allicin. You have to use it raw or in a supplement. If the label doesn't state allicin on it, there probably isn't any active allicin left due to how it was processed, so make sure the label states allicin, or just buy this brand. I am not a doctor.
