Q: Is this made of wood?

According to Jean Paul's website, this clarinet is made from ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic. This listing says it's made from ebonite which is a hard rubber used in bowling balls (also very good for clarinets), but it is a completely different material. The CL300 is a plastic clarinet.

Q: Can you buy replacement parts if it breaks in any way?

If you bought the clarinet with a 1 year warentee you send it back and yes they will send replacement parts or a whole new clarinet it also comes with 2 parts I'm not sure exactly what they are called but its the part that connects the headjoins to the body

Q: Would this be a good clarinet for a beginner clarinetist ?

This clarinet is fantastic. My 15 year old son has been playing for nearly 5 years now, this is his second clarinet. I asked him what he thought and he said he’s glad this was his second one because it’s a very nice one. He says it was better to start with a less expensive one so he could decide if he wanted to stick with it. Thankfully he has and he’ll be playing it in marching band again this year. Great quality instrument and case.
