This product was very easy to utilize for my screen replacement. They had many features on the install kit that actually allowed for an ease of use. The instructions were generally straightforward and anyone who understands the basics of phone technology could use this product to replace their screen.The included tools were quality. The durability of the screen and the protector provided is clear and sturdy.

terribly good value for the money. 3d touch s quite as good . replacement job is straightforward but complex. track all screw locations on a drawing as the screws vary considerably in size. follow all steps. i would use the procedure as outlined on ifixit’s website. use the plastic tools that come with the repair kit, use nothing made of metal for this job. if you have a really shattered screen, put a piece of packaging tape on the screen so the suction cup will stay attached. the most tedious process was getting the front camera/speaker/light sensor in the new screen to “stacked” and stay long enough to get the bracket over it. if the three pieces are located correctly, you should be able to push the bracket almost all the way down to its seat with moderate pressure with one finger. if it doesn’t sit down most of the way, something is mis-aligned. the cables won’t align 100% with the plugs on the main board when you start this part of the process. you’ll need to use a bit of feel to make sure they’re aligned and moderate pressure will seat them. there is a barely noticeable “click” when you seat the plugs. its atedious process to change the screen but once completed my phone looks like a new one now.It fits my iphone 6s perfect and feels like the original product from apple.

Lack of credibility

This was perfect! I was able to follow the instructions from YouTube & all of the tools provided in the kit worked great. It was my first time fixing an iPhone screen by myself and it wasn’t hard at all! Also, the home button, 3D Touch, and overall screen color/quality was spot on. Highly recommend!

I actually purchased this several months ago but just got around to installing today (Nov 18, 2020). I read the instructions but finally settled on using the iFixit video which also comes with written instructions. I found the written instructions more helpful than the video. It took me about an hour and a half mostly because when removing the cables, there were 3 per the instructions but upon replacing with the new screen, there are only 2.The rear-facing camera does not work nor does the earpiece , so that may be the missing cable. Everything else works just fine, so i'm not sure if I missing something or a cable is actually missing. I may take apart and look at it again. Will also contact customer service.Overall, it was pretty easy to disassemble and put back together but I REALLY dislike that the company doesn't have its own video. The link/QR code takes you to several video links, none of which were for this specific product. So as a nontechnical person, I wasn't sure about the missing cable. There is also a green tab that was not addressed anywhere, so I'm not sure if it should have stayed on or not.I will try and do a follow-up in the future regarding use and the missing cable.--> UPDATE (Nov 20, 2020). There were no missing parts & everything works now. I did not realize that I had to remove the earpiece as well as the camera. Took everything apart again, removed from old phone and added. Everything works great. I am upgrading my rating from 3 to 4 stars. No higher because this company should provide its own step-by-step instructions. (Although I'm sure they won't, for liability purposes, probably).

I’ve replaced a few screens over the last few years. What made this product so awesome, the screen is perfect ,also the tool kit,instructions and video that made the job so easy if you never replaced a screen before ,you will be able to do it easily. The plus is the two screw drivers are magnetic a real bonus because the screws are tiny . My advice would be do this in a well lit area with a towel on the table and if you’re visions not great get a pair of magnifying glasses 👍

Works well, and seems to be high quality, except for the missing plastic camera mount. Note: I am aware that these screens do not include the camera, or home button (I fixed iphones for a living for awhile), but 99% of these screens come with the actual plastic housing for the camera attached to them, as they are glued on and bringing your camera housing from your old screen is not ideal. With no housing the camera doesn't line up properly, and transferring the housing has its own issues with stability. Otherwise it's a good screen, and the tools included were of higher quality than typical. Maybe they aren't all like this.
