it's a decent box the only cons is that do not have american satellites installed so you have to do research and install them yourself but you are not getting program guide or sat. names, din't like that part so I returned it

Has a slow software, but a very good picture is not what I spect from this product, don't like it

easy to setup, although had initial problems getting it to work with motorized dish. Works great with ethernet connnection. Will be getting WIFI dongle for it.

not very ergonomical menu, no power off button (only unplugging from the socket). channel selection speed is actually more than 1sec, as stated by manufacturer

At first glance this receiver appears to be pretty awesome. Please do not buy this, as I believe you will be very disappointed. #1. the IR receiver on this thing STINKS! I was hoping it was just the remote. It is NOT. I programmed my universal remote and it didn't do any better. You have to be within 5 feet of the unit and pointing the remote DIRECTLY at it, along with having the receiver turned towards you. RIDICULOUS. #2. It locks up CONSTANTLY. If you tune to a lower quality transponder, it can crash and reboot the unit. So badly, that i have to disconnect the LNB cable so i can move to a different transponder before plugging it back in as it will just keep crashing.If they fixed these two things, it would be a pretty nice unit. But, they are really bad problems that caused me to buy another brand receiver. I feel so strongly on the junk nature of this unit, i am not going to re-sell my used unit. I am going to toss it in the trash!
