Swift Hitch SH03 Portable Two Wireless Camera System with 120V AC to 12V DC Adapter

I had one of these a few years back and used it couple of times to back the pontoon into storage but really intended to use it to monitor horses in the trailer when going down the road. Made a mount for it but never got to use it other than set-up test run before the mystery of losing it...stolen whatever! Bought this 2 camera set to replace and still haven't used it for the intended use but adapted them for another use. Had sewer trouble and router rooter guys say it didn't appear to be collapsed like I had thought but something not right and since no plumbers cameras available, I Monster taped the camera and sma cable with the antenna to a sewer snake and fed it into the sewer pipe. Could see inside of the pipe clearly but the antenna cable was too short to get to the problem spot! Since the line was routered out and usable, I had to abandon the project/experiment until I can find a longer sma cable. It will happen some day and hope I don't get the camera stuck!! Picture/screen is amazingly clear but small but has jack for video output so will have to get it set up with lap top. Looks to be good product and favorable in price.

This system is pretty handy. I use it for mounting my plow mostly. Makes it a one approach task - no repeated tries. I don't leave it permanently mounted, I just attach the cameras before I mount the blade and take them off after. The camera in this set that takes the external antenna developed a problem with the external antenna connector barrel where it disconnected internally. Swift Hitch offered to repair or replace and sent me an RMA. I did need to pay for shipping ($10). Still, getting a replacement arranged was a simple as reporting the problem. Forget about the extras like the telescoping handle and the windshield mounting tray - they are poor quality and were never useful.

This is well made with good magnets, for temporary mounting. I'm not sure if the magnets have been tested and would hold to what highway speeds or off the road bumps. You can place one on the truck looking down on the ball and the other on the hitch and switch between views as needed.For safety, a ground guide is always important, but this allows for true precision in slowly placing a ball or pintail under the hitch or sliding into the snow plow or other link ups. It sure beats, "You are a little to the right, to the left, almost there... . Stop, no! Go forward and try it again." It saves time and keeps you from wanting to get out and strangle your ground guide.

This two camera set works. With the standard (factory installed antenna) I could receive a clear view 200 feet from the camera. I use it mostly to put on the back of a trailer so I can see where I'm backing. In hindsight I probably did not need to second camera, and most people probably don't. In my case, the second camera would be useful if I didn't charge a camera and needed a charged one while I was working.

My husband actually wanted another camera system with a bigger screen, but this one was available with fast shipping. He's a little sorry that he didn't wait and get the other one.The screen is so small that he has to hold it in his hand while backing up to hitch. Obviously that's a bit awkward, but having it on the dash means he can't see the details enough to back into place.It takes a few trials to find the optimum placement of the camera to view the hitch, but after the first time or two, you are fine. With a larger screen, I'd give this 5 stars.

I have needed something to help me engage my 5er to the truck for some time now. I have not actually used this for its intended use, but I have experimented enough with the two camera system to state that I think it will definitely be better than not having it.Well made and layed out I will give it 5 stars if it works as well as think it will after a trip

This is a new version of one I bought several years ago Swift Hitch SHO1. This is a much better product than my original unit. The range is much better and picture quality is excellent this one has a strong signal better quality camera and is easy to use.

Does exactly what we hoped for. We can easily back our travel trailer into a spot if there is no drive through option, or when parking for storage. As well, connecting the trailer to our tow vehicle leaves a distance challenged spouse out of the picture which has saved a marriage. Thank you Swift Hitch.
