Absolutely a great buy! This smoker box works perfect on the Flavorizers on a Weber Genesis. Put it directly on the burner under the grill itself, this thing smokes food better on a gas grill than my smoker from Weber did and it’s easy to use and less that $20. Don’t waste your money on a pellet smoker if you already own a grill. Gets smoking within a minute of firing up the burner with dry chips on high and then dial it back to your cooking temp once smoking. You can add smoke to your quick grilled food like burgers or slow smoke some fish, tri tip, or pork. If you use this one correctly on the burner shield like it’s meant, it works great.

This works well and gives me access to smoke for some of my grilling with little effort. It appears to be well designed and constructed. I am extremely pleased with my acquisition!

Overall, the box is pretty well made, and sits nicely on top of the triangular steel plates in my Napoleon Prestige Pro 500. You can either place it on top of one of the plates, or remove the plate and put this smoker box in its place as it should fit in the slots. I've used cast iron smoker boxes before and I never care for them properly so they end up rusting. I'm hoping that given this one is made out of stainless steel, that I won't have to deal with the rust. The one thing to note is that for my grill, I typically only need one burner on high to get me to 225-250° for low and slow cooking. However, you'll want this on top of the a separate burner set on low so that the wood chips don't burn too quickly or catch on fire. I ended up having to use two burners: one set on low for the smoker box (usually the second one in), and one medium-ish for the balance of the heat in order to get to smoking temps. Additionally, I don't use the cover for the smoker box given that most low and slow smoking requires continually adding chips to the box, and having to remove the smoker box cover is a pain because it's a pretty tight fit. And obviously, you don't want to lose a ton of heat as it requires time to get the grill back to temp. Overall, it does what I need it to do.

Fits nicely into Napoleon Prestige 500. Fill it with combination of wood chips and chunks with burner set to high and it starts smoking in a few minutes. Once it starts smoking, turn down burner to low heat. Works best over burner set to low during cook. Realistically can’t replace the taste of a smoker, but can add a nice little smoke flavor to your cook if used correctly m

I love this smoke box for my gas grill. I use it all of the time. Definitely helps give the food a little smoke flavor. The build quality is great and I'd recommend this to anyone who has a gas grill.

Great Quality, almost a shame to have it hidden under the grates. Works like a charm. I keep the burner under it on low, while the others are up higher when cooking, to get a nice smoke flavor to my food.
