Must have of you have guinea pigs.
I got this for emergency base for guinea pigs. Comes really fresh, there is no hardness to it, the first couple of stages is not chewable but as you make it thicker guinea pigs will chew it up. Works very well when your in a critical moment with a baby. Always have on hand if your breeding guinea pigs or own them. Good for babies in need or much older piggies who are having a hard time eating due to age. I also use this for wildlife.

Great stuff for emergencies
But it doesn't push easily in a syringe unless it's very liquid. An alternative in our case was to mix a small amount with one bit of chopped cantaloupe. Worked like a charm. Our guinea who is older and slowing down devoured it, which was the goal.

Emeraid vs Oxbow
My 2 year old bunny hasn’t been eating her hay due to dental issues and I immediately went to the vet and they provided me with Emeraid Critical Care. She wasn’t a fan of that at all I had to force it down her throat. Switched over to Oxbow and she loved it. Now she’s slowly eating her hay and the apple banana flavor is her favorite. Thank you OXBOW!

This is truly a miracle in a bag for rabbits
Our 7 year old rabbit developed sore hocks that started bothering him so we decided to take him to the vet to get them checked out. Turns out that not only did he have those but a multitude of other health issues that really surprised us since he was still eating a lot and was active. They said he would not live thru that night and needed to be admitted. We decided to get a second opinion and the first vet gave us pain and antibiotic meds and small bag of critical care to take home. The second vet also said the same thing, even offering to cremate him for free on the spot! We were incredibly saddened and surprised that these vets couldn't do anything to help our little guy. We decided that if we couldn't be in the room with him at the time of his passing (Because of COVID) that we would take him home to pass with us. It was heartbreaking but we made him as comfortable as possible. We think the shock of being handled by so many people without us there really affected him to the point he couldn't walk and would just lay there. What surprised us was that he kept eating...A LOT. We fed him romaine and critical care two-three times a day. After almost two weeks he made a FULL recovery and was walking and running on his own. His sores were still there but with a lot of treatment they were manageable, thanks to another amazon product Vetericyn. We give it to critical care for sustaining our bunny and keeping him alive. Often times our bunny disliked drinking water and eating hay so this really supplemented that part of his diet and really gave him all the nutrients to bounce right back. He absolutely loves this stuff and we feed this to him as a treat at the end of the day to help with water intake or hay.We love this product. It is truly a miracle product. Please don't stop making this!

Great for sick Guinea pigs
I use this for when my Guinea pigs are having problems with eating and pooping. They don't like it so I have to add more water to it to make it really watery and force it to them. The only con is the pieces are super hard to get in syringe

Easy to prepare
My bunny's health is not well at this time. After doing a google search I decided to try this product. It's a decent size and the value for my money was fair. She's been on it for about a week and I can already see a difference in her appearance. She seems to be functioning better especially her hopping.

If you have a rabbit, keep this ready!
Bunny LOVES this and it likely saved her life! After somebunny ate carpet when we were not looking she had a tummy recovery to go through. The vet recommended that the first step of the emergency care we give her this. After a few days she got better and started eating her normal foods but I believe this saved her. Since then she has had tummy aches twice and both times we had a bag of this on her shelf and with love, care, and this emergency care she was up and hopping within 48 hours! I will always have this on her shelf!
