I've read the negative reviews, and while I agree it's intended purpose doesn't fit me the way I would need it to in order to relieve neck pain... it works WONDERFULLY for my back pain! I just move it along my spine while laying face up on the floor (hard surface) and it works great to help relieve pain from my mild kyphosis. If you lay with it in one spot for 1-3 min it will release the tension in that area and you can move on to other problem areas. This has been an invaluable tool for me and I love it's compact size, making it great to throw in a travel bag! They also have a deep tissue version that is a bit firmer and works for people (or just different areas) that need firmer pressure. It helps relieve the tension in my mid to upper back, and ultimately helps prevent some migraines. I highly recommend this item!

I have used computers for fun, hobbies, and work, for almost the last 40 years. Now almost 69, I have a neck and headache on my right side. I complained about it to my wife. Her response to purchase the cranioCradle. I was pretty damn dubious of it but she bought it so I tried it. And I'm freaking amazed. I found that one of the suggested positions of this thing, putting it on its narrow end with its other end supporting the base of my skull while lying on the floor for about five to ten minutes every night eliminated my headache on the first night. After the second night of using it, I no longer had a headache at all. I'm simply astounded. I can't believe how effectively this solved that problem for me and highly recommend it to others. Give it a chance, and it might amaze you.

I became aware of the CranioCradle several years back and experienced it periodically at trade shows and conventions. It was always a pleasurable and relaxing experience. Finally decided to get one to have at home and I'm glad I did. When you have more time to really relax into the "cradle" you begin to feel the subtle but powerful effect. It's very meditative and calming when you begin to feel the inner pulse of your own life force and really pay attention. Love it! The product was shipped in its own box with no extra padding. It arrived undamaged, but the box was dinged a little in shipping. Maybe Amazon should consider using a padded envelope or box to ship.

I have fibromyalgia and one of the things that helps most is myofascial release. This helps me fix my back and neck. Worth the money.
