Why did you pick this product vs others?:I tried other fans by different companies. Larger and smaller and at different prices. This is absolutely the best. I can’t afford to run the A/C because of limited income. I love this fan and i’m sure i’ll get lots of comfort through this impossible summer. Hoping for another for my Birthday. Again thanks! The media could not be loaded. read (past tense ;) ) the reviews before ordering. arrived on time and packaged securely. so far, it's working great. even the lowest speed provides a great breeze. i use it in my bedroom, on the floor, aimed towards my bed. now, it does seem cheaply made, but, i did get a huge discount, using my credit card points. the noise is like white noise to me, so no problem. i would recommend this product.

Good fan. The base provides strong support with no vibration even on the highest setting. Noise is reasonably low. There's no noise from the electric motor, just the blades cutting through the air. Low price, great value.

6/1/2020:Easy to assemble.Sturdy construction.The polarized plug has a fuse (most fans these days have that).Fan runs smooth and quite (yes there is noise, it is a fan).Got one for my 5yr old's room and one for my bedroom. Good balance between noise and air movement. Much quieter than the 30-inch lasko box fan (which I also recommend if you like to put a fan in the window).I have never purchased a table top fan like this before and I was pleased to see they are similar to those my parents and grandparents had in the 90s. Although the plastic on this model is not as rough-and-tough. That might be good, the plastic seems more playable so probably less brittle and less likely to chip if dropped.I'll report back if I have issues. As of now I fully recommend.

It's hot weather time and retailers keep prices on electric fans locked in. So I opt for a somewhat lower-cost one and I get the booby-prize. I will return this because the manufacturing standard is beyond cheap. The blades on the fan are so thin and flimsy that it defeats the purpose. Its just atrocious. {There was already an upfront warning footnote on the plastics used on this device --a potentially airborne chemical disclosure.... so maybe I will be spared that worry.] Oh and the buttons on the base of this fan feel as though they might last a week. Nothing here that translates to consumer confidence. Overall, it's literally thinnest, ridiculously floppy-grade plastic. It just begs to be sent back!

Super easy to assemble, it’s a nice size so it does well at maintaining a level of air flow to keep you cool and has been running steadily every night. It was so good I purchased a second one for another bedroom.The noise level is tolerable, personally I like the white noise it creates while on low. At the highest speeds one of the fans tends to rattle a bit and needs adjusting otherwise it’s great.

Just what I expect in a fan: powerful breeze, perfect oscillation, choice of speeds. My home office/laundry room doesn't get cooled from the main A/C, so in these hot temps, I need extra cooling. This was a great purchase.
