Nice projector, odd UI
**UPDATE** Thanks to the comment from corbra, I now know how to control the volume on my unit (left and right buttons on the remote while the screen is on), so I've changed my review to 5 stars. So the unit has good picture, and acceptable sound once you know how to adjust it. But the placement of the volume control is incredibly non-obvious. Even knowing exactly how to control it now, I went back through the manual and found nothing that mentioned it. Still, I'm rating the product's capabilities, not the user interface. I figure you can learn to use a weird user interface on an otherwise good product, and be happier than if you had a perfectly intuitive user interface on a lousy product. One other thing though - don't lose the remote. There is exactly 1 button (on/off) and one adjustment wheel (keystone correction) on the unit itself. Everything else is on the remote. And the remote takes a specialty battery - size 3V CR2025. Fortunately, it's included with the unit, but once it dies, you probably don't have one lying around to replace it. Just FYI.I've left the original review below:*********This might not matter to most of you setting up home theater systems with separate surround sound speakers, but for me, I just wanted a single unit to project movies and sound, which is what I thought I was getting. And while I love the picture quality, and the brightness is really impressive for an LED lamp, my one complaint is that even though it has built-in speakers, they're very quiet and have no volume control. So, you can mute or unmute it through the remote, but that's all. It's weird. Who ever heard of speakers with no volume control? So, this line from the product features, "... Audio (built-in speakers give a home theater experience anywhere)" is a massive overstatement.Still, the picture really is bright, sharp, and vividly colored. So, if you've got your own speakers, this is probably a great unit for you, especially for the price.

Seems to be a Very Good Budget Projector
I recently ordered one of these for a friend, he had seen my BenQ short-throw projector and wanted one of his own, but didn't want to spend as much, we've been watching it the last few days, and out of the box were both very pleased, even impressed with this little unit. The picture is very good, especially for the price point, bright, good colors and well defined, even does pretty well with lights on in the room, the sound from the internal speaker is very loud, twice as loud as my BenQ. The unit has great connectivity, hdmi, rbg, rca, usb, vga, audio out and even an svideo hook up and having 20,000 hour lamp life is awesome. I love the size of this projector, very small, light weight and portable 8inches by 6inches and weighs only 2 1/2 lbs, way smaller than my BenQ.Although this unit seems to be a great choice for an inexpensive projector it does have some flaws. The internal fan runs nonstop and I found it annoying when sitting right next to the projector, but with proper sound and placement not a huge issue. The remote and IR sensor aren't very strong and the sensor is located on the back of the projector, I found that I basically had to point the remote directly at the back of the projector to get it to do what I wanted it to. Placement is everything with this projector, it has no keystone adjustment(that I saw in the menu or manual although other reviews say there is a 15degree keystone), just a single focus ring around the lens and a small screw-down leg in the front, you will have to set the projector at just the right spot for desired screen location and size, I think it was around 150inches away from the wall for a 100 inch screen.(We got a very nice 100 inch image from ceiling to midwall with the projector on coffee table, and the aid of a few phone books.)All in all this seems to be a very solid choice for a budget projector, the picture isn't quite as good as my BenQ, but was very good, and this unit is less than 1/2 the price and size as the BenQ. My friend is thrilled with his purchase, I was impressed with it as well.
