GPX BC232R Portable Top-Loading CD Boombox with AM/FM Radio and 3.5mm Line in for MP3 Device - Red/Black

Love this CD Player! It is easy to use and has nice sound. It plays home recorded CD's as well as store-bought. The markings on the buttons were a little hard for me to see so I put small labels on them until I learn where everything is. I use it in my sewing room.

This is the second one of this model I've purchased. The other one still works great after 2/3 years. But I wanted one for when I'm out side working.

This review is for the 'GPX, Inc. Portable Top-Loading CD Boombox with AM/FM Radio and 3.5mm Line In for MP3 Device - Red'. The compact size is great for traveling (if so choose). There were a few key features that the boobox lacked:1) You cannot program radio stations. That would have been helpful for those who listen to various stations. There is a Program feature - however, it only works for the CDs (which I found quite odd). I included image of those instructions.2) The radio tuning knob (on the top right of the radio) is very sensitive. You have to turn the knob extremely slow as it moves from station to station quite rapidly.Overall, the boombox is decent - for the price paid (less than $30).

Cd player is compact ,Sound quality is clear, it is durable, great value for money

Item only worked for 13 days. The AM and FM radio just make a buzzing sound, and the cd player works intermittently. A piece of junk.

facing the front of the cd/radio player, the small buttons do not operate as indicated on the instructions sheet, when pressing either of the buttons there is no reaction. Other wise an excellent piece of equipment.

functional and convenient. great for relaxing or for background music.
