What Reptile?: A Buyer's Guide
M**.
Really good guide, with a majority of the most popular reptiles.
I got this book because I liked the "What Fish?" books. There's not too much I can say,it's one of the better guidebooks in my opinion. It has the basics of what you need to know for each reptile.I have noticed a few errors, mostly in the size of the tanks, but it gives you a general idea of the size. It's a good guidebook, I'd recommend it if you were trying to pick a reptile to keep as a pet. This book will definitely get you started on what you need to know before you get it.

Must have guide before you buy your pet reptile.
Best book I've read for educating about pet reptiles. Awesome details and facts to help the buyer make decisions about their pet choices.

Great book for potential frog, lizard, turtle or snake owners
Although I have no interest in getting a reptilian pet -- I prefer mammals -- I think this book would very valuable to anyone who was thinking of getting one. It covers dozens of species, with details such as how easily they feed and breed, and what size their terrarium would need to be. The author is a professional wildlife photographer and most of the photos he took himself; they're quite beautiful. In sum: a very good book for its intended purpose.

Super handy quick reference
Super handy quick reference. Wish they had one for just snakes so they could include more species, but this has most of the species you regularly see at shows. Gives good info about pros and cons of keeping various species, not just care requirements.
