Winsor & Newton490015 Studio Collection Water Colour Pencils - Set of 24

Used to have some of these coloured pencils years ago and I am delighted to say they are as good as I remember them. You can get a nice pale shade by using only slight pressure but a really good dark colour with more pressure.

Only problem is there is nothing on the pencil barrel to distinguish the water colour pencils from the same brand of coloured pencils

Son very pleased with these. Obviously packed well as no breakages. Look good either used as a standard pencil or as a water colour. He is studying GCSE art. Also a lot of colour choice.

Very nice watercolour pencils. I did a test between these, Faber castell and Caran d’ache. I felt that it was a close thing between Faber and the Winsor and Newton. The reason F&C came out on top was the dry pencil colour was more similar to the wet/watercolour colour. But other than that very nice and a pleasure to use.

To use with my watercolour sketch pad they came with, to practice and gain confidence in watercolour pencil techniques.

Good quality and price

Liked very much. In hospital & needed to use paints but these acrylic pencils were brilliant for painting with water. Great value.

Bought these for my wife and she loves them. Enough said

I bought these hoping the name sake would make them a good product. I was wrong, only the very pigmented pencils stood up to the water and created a nice enough blend.Next time I would spend some extra money an get a better set.
