Simply Wonderful!
I did a lot of research before choosing this tablet to replace my Tesco Hudl2.For the price, this is the best Android tablet around. Best in terms of spec.Looks good, works fast, lots of memory, lots of storage. Can add an SD Card should more storage be needed. Battery usage is fine – but depends what you use it for. Simple browsing and email you can get up to 9 hours. Watching videos on demand can reduce that down to 6 hours.Just the right amount of bezel around the edges, light to hold and to carry around. Shame about the manual - if you are a first time Android user you will need to look elsewhere to find out how to use Oreo to its fullest and setup the tablet.EDIT In use now for almost 3 weeks and all is fine. I have read the subsequent reviews to mine and need to say this:-A popular misconception is that you cannot charge via the USB socket. YOU CAN! The device is supplied with a cable that has standard USB connector one end and the other end with a micro USB connector. Plugging the standard end into say a laptop and the other end into the Fusion tablet will start to charge the tablet (the default setting). You can use the same connections for file and photo transfer but you need to change the default by swiping down from top right of the tablet when connected and then tapping to change the setting. I believe this is an OREO feature.SPECIAL NOTE You cannot use this same cable and plug it into the supplied charger - well you can but it will not charge your tablet. Simply use the other supplied cable, the one with jackplug on the end to charge with the charger. Hope this helps.

Poor battery life
Update 12-May-2019: Unfortunately, we had to return this tablet as the battery life was not good. Despite turning off features such as location services, the battery would go from full to empty in less than two hours. Not ideal if you are trying to use it whilst travelling. A shame as in all other respects, it is a good machine, but with the battery issue I have to drop the rating to two stars only.Original review: This was a bit of a distress purchase as the wife managed to drop her aging iPad 4 a few days before we were due to go on holiday, but I have to say I am very impressed by the Fusion5. It is light but feels very solid and well put together. Set up was a breeze with my wife automatically transferring the contents of her Android mobile to the new machine. She was also able to easily download Sky Go and Amazon video from the Play Store. On board storage is good and can be expanded if required using an SD card. As other reviews have noted, there is little or no bloatware – I actually could not spot any so I'm wondering what apps other reviewers considered surplus to requirements. The screen is very clear and I see little difference between this and screen quality on the iPad4. Playback is smooth. Sound quality from the on-board speakers is good but not massively loud. It is greatly improved through headphones or a Bluetooth speaker. In summary we are very pleased with the purchase, and think it offers great value for money.

Great little tablet!
Arrived promptly, and was pleasantly surprised how powerful this machine is. Bereft of a lot of bloatware (nice) but still some of the usual suspects.... Set up was a dream (synced to my mobile) and all info transferred seamlessly..it's fast! I really want this for gigging with music files/lyrics and all my data was easy to upload (I purchased a 32gb sd card for the music files - although the internal memory (32gb) would be more than enough). Onboard OS (Android Oreo 8.1) is not vastly different from Android 7, so familiarity helped here! Very pleased so far, but yet to use it as my 'go-to' performance tab. 15 month warranty with this is a bonus, provided you send it in within 2 weeks of purchase. All in all, pleased so far!

speaker is woeful, charger not USB, screen marks v easy, battery runs out quicker than usain bolt
Positives - seems quick enough and capable and easy to use purely as an 8.1 android device.Negs - the speaker is woeful. In its 1st test on a car journey, my daughter couldn't hear anything - it would need an external speaker. Instead, we gave up & used my phone. The screen marks unbelievably easy and is covered in marks after this short use. The charger is not USB, instead, it is a dc connector, not particularly handy in a world of 99% USB. The battery is empty after 2 days in sleep. Unfortunately too many negatives so I am returning and going to give the F104Bv2 a go, with the price difference I can buy an external speaker if the speakers still rubbish. Hopefully, I just got a one-off Friday night job & they're not all as ropey as this one.

Much better than expected
Now to be honest I only bought this tablet because my old tablet was stuck with Android 4.4 and the manufacturer was not going to uplift the OS. As such at the price braket for the Fusion5 my expectations were along the lines that it would be adequate but not to expect the earth. WRONG, this tablet is so much better than adequate, quick enough to bare comparison with my previous tablet with good screen resolution. Fusion5 have been excellent to deal with answering a few queries I had quickly and curtiously. I would recommend this product especially at the price, just go for the 2gb with 32gb memory model as the best option.
