The seller displays a card that is clearly white-listed by Lenovo. The card you receive will work in your G-50 but as to whether or not it's white-listed is anybody's guess. The part # and Lenovo so clearly shown in the in the illustration is missing from the product you will receive.Installation is a snap with plenty of tutorials on You Tube. Install the card, button up your laptop, hook up a network cable, power up, access the web via LAN, go to settings, devices, network cards and highlight the new card. Windows 10 will then search the net, download and install the new driver. Good luck actually finding a driver with documentation for the card. I could only find a Windows 8 driver for the BCM chip on the card.. I have no idea what the driver is that Windows installed. You will receive a card in in an ant-stat envelope and nothing else, not even a business card with a thank-you. In Microsoft we trust has to be your motto to buy this card.Not for a beginner!

First of all, DOES NOT WORK FOR LINUX BASED SYSTEMS. Windows 10 is able to find the drivers automatically no problem but if you are not a Windows user, do not purchase.Second, with the new card installed in a Lenovo G50-45 running Windows 10 everything appears to be working flawlessly EXCEPT that if I connect to a 5ghz network, the PC will freeze completely without fail. Usually right away but always within an hour. It works just fine on the 2.4ghz network, but the reason I purchased this card was to allow the laptop to connect to a 5ghz network.

Seems to work great. My computer (Lenovo G50-45) seemed to become somewhat more unstable right after I installed them (though the adapter is on the list of approved Wifi cards), but it seems to have resolved itself after a while.

It worked for my g50-70

Crappy build quality, product stopped working had to reinstall old 2.4 card.
