brown is for the ground, gray is the winter color of a oak tree all day!! I brought this jacket to wear over my cold weather gear, because it matches the light grey of the oak tree in winter after the leaves are on the ground.at that time of the year, all you see is brown and grey. this jacket is true to size, and light weight. thanks to my fellow reviewer's for the honest reviews, it's hard to add anything else. great jacket!!

Lightweight and warm for it's thickness. Only issue would be the zipper is on the opposite side for a man.

The fit was right on and the jacket works well for my outdoor job. I am happy with the purchase and would buy one again.
