I wanted something to hold a sponge and metal scrub pad so that they didn't make a mess of the back of my sink, and don't sit in a pool of dirty water. This solved the problem for me. It's large enough to hold those two items, and yes, it does stay stuck to the side of my steel sink (at least so far, after a couple of months). It doesn't rust, it's solid, and I recommend it.Update:After several months of use I'm still happy with this, although I've found that in order to keep the suction cups working well, I have to clean them once in a while. Not a lot to ask.Second update:I've been using this for a year on my stainless steel sink. About once every couple of weeks it slides down. I wash the suction cups and the part of the sink where I want it to stick and it's good for another couple of weeks. The suction cups are definitely flattening, though, and if I can find some reasonably priced replacements I'll get them.Third update:After about a year the suction cups were flat and would no longer stick. I removed them and found two small suction cups with steel hooks at the hardware store and hung the basket on the hooks. Works fine and should be good for at least another year.

This unit was sturdy and held well to side of the sink. After a few months, the suction cups failed and it continually fell into the sink. Washed the cups and tried to reafix, but no go. Good, but fails after a few months.

Added this to my kitchen collection and I have to say, it's fantastic. It works great and looks really nice in my kitchen. The stainless steel doesn't change color or get tarnished, even with all the water and soap it deals with daily.One of the best things about it is how well it stays in place. It doesn't move around at all, but it's still super easy to take off and put back on when you need to clean it. Plus, it's really discreet and doesn't take up much space, but it holds a large sponge with no problem.All in all, I'm really happy with this sponge holder. It's practical, sturdy, and looks good too. If you need a sponge holder that does the job without any fuss, this is the one to get. Highly recommended!

We bought one of these with Satin Finish in 2017 and it has worked well in our stainless steel kitchen sink to hold sponges. After 5 years, the suction cups have begun to slip. There is also a little bit of rust on the bottom, although that is not a big issue at this time.One of the other reviewers shared that replacement suction cups were available at our local Ace Hardware. We visited Ace and purchased suction cup key hooks from their Key department for less than $2 each.Once home, it took me less than 10 minutes to snip off the old suction cups, remove the wire hooks from the new ones, and snap the new ones into place. The new suction cups fit nicely in the holder and seems to hold securely in the sink.Hopefully, the new suction cups will last for another 5 years and the rust won't get significantly worse.

Didn't want to clutter up new/sink counter area, but wanted easy access, ability to drain sponge and something that was stable. Works perfectly for my needs and doesn't get in the way of sink area.

I bought two of these at the same time; one of them still works well. This review is primarily about the one that doesn't.I like the appearance of this sponge caddy and the ventilation it provides; the sponge actually has a chance to dry during the day. It looks decent in our stainless-steel sink but in less 6 months, one of the suction cups went mostly flat; the basket frequently comes loose if nudged and tips to the side. The sponge rarely falls out, but it's difficult to restore the caddy to an upright position.

This pearl-white stainless steel sponge holder blends perfectly into the white of our farmhouse style kitchen sink. It's sturdy, the suction cups are extremely effective, and the suction cups haven't moved or fallen since we installed it over a month ago. Flawless, fabulous design!

O suporte com ventosa é lindo, torna a organização na cozinha ou área de serviço melhor que antes! Parece frágil mas suporta bem uma escovinha de limpeza e esponjas. Uso para organizar as esponjas de limpeza de banheiro, e uma escova para pia, na parede de azulejo na área de serviço. =DA ventosa fixa bem , só seguir as instruções, e limpar bem o azulejo com álcool. Se soltar, com o uso, ou é porque está muito seca , ou por excesso de peso ou pressão ao guardar os acessórios. Aí é só molhar as ventosas e fixar novamente!Aqui em casa todos notaram o item lindo na parede! Deu um ar elegante e organizado. Obrigada, Amazon! ;D

Great way to keep my scrubber and brush out of the sink. Suction works great. I’ve had to redo the one side a couple of times in the 2 months I’ve had it but I feel that’s pretty normal. Works great!
