Oopsmark U-Lock Holster for Kryptonite Bicycle Locks

It works until you look and your bikes gone, the screws fall out your lock is gone, time to buy a new lock and return this trinket.

Worked well after a little brainstorm of how to attach it. It's definitely an open ended solution, since as other users described, the holster won't fit behind the seat as intended on many bikes. In the end I was able to attach it securely to the side of my bike frame. Now time will tell how it lasts. Perhaps more suggestions on ways to attach it included in the delivery (user manual?) would be beneficial.Thanks!

Sehr praktisch und sah dabei noch gut aus! Leider hat die Halterung keine zwei Monate gehalten...Wie schon in anderen Bewertungen beschrieben ist die Halterung gerissen. Nicht für die schweren Kryptonite Schlösser geeignet.

It took me way too long to get this holster on the bike. The video demo is WAY too fast and I had to slow it down as slow as it possibly could go just to wrap my head around it. I also had my husband try, and he was confused by the video as well. So some written instructions with simple visuals (a la IKEA style) would be very helpful.So let me try and write these instructions out:1. Unscrew the two pieces and put them safely aside.2. Pull out the two longer pieces of leather.3. Placing the main part of the holster with the company name AGAINST the bike, where the holes are on the bottom and the long piece of leather is on the top, take the long leather strap and loop it around the tube.4. Push the leather strip through the BIGGER hole and pull it through.5. Take the other side of the holster and fold it over, so now the part already tied makes a bendy U and you can now read the company name again.6. Loop the long strap over the tube and then push it through the hole on top.7. Weave it through the hole that is on bottom.8. Pull the straps down to a secure place and then line up the holes of your choosing and then attach the screws.Also, I have a small bike a big U lock. I don't have a rack so I put this to my top tube and attach it to my water bottle cage bc I'm not tall enough to put this to the seat, and I have drop bars so I couldn't install it on the handlebars. So I do lose the functionality of a water bottle cage, but until I get a rack, not a big deal.

The U-Lock holster is sturdy and well designed to hold a U-Lock. Based on the seller’s online video, it was easy to install even though no installation instruction was coming with the product package. I would consider this a great and very practical solution for carrying a U-Lock. I don’t give it 5 stars only because of the missing installation instructions which was mitigated by the engaged vendor pointing to the online videos by email.

This thing is awesome. Was looking for a u-lock mount with some style and found this thing. It's great that it matches the rest of the leather on my bike and it mounts in areas that aren't as visible. It doesn't come with instructions so you have to take a look at the pics to figure out how to mount it. Thing is sturdy and stylee.

I ride my bike ~8 miles a day to/from work. I really hated always trying to find a place to put my u-lock, in my pannier, on my handlebars, etc. My bike has a small frame and the u-lock holder that allows it to clamp on the frame just didn't fit well. But this holster fits perfectly on my rear rack, it looks cool, and is SO easy to use. I love that I don't have to find a place for my u-lock anymore. It doesn't rattle around either, even though the leather slightly stretched after I installed it. I could also just put the lock through the slats on my rear rack, but it rattled there and I always worried it would bump my tire.Notes on installation: There are holes punched in the leather for the screws at preset sizes, and the way that I attached it was slightly odd just so that I could get the screw to fit in a hole that would allow it to be snug. You can see in the photo it's attached with one strap on the rear rack and one strap on my bike frame. But it works perfectly and I imagine it could adapt to many shapes/sizes/configurations.

Cute but cannot hold heavy u-bolts. It broke. Good for light u-bolts but light u-bolts can be cut.

This clever product solves the problem of storing a U-lock on a bicycle. Gone are the days of attaching a heavy lock to my backpack or clumsily hanging from my messenger bag. The product works as described and is adjustable to a modest degree. I highly recommend it for urban cyclists looking for a minimalist solution to lock storage. Despite cinching the straps to an appropriate tightness, my lock does manage to slip behind one of the straps from time to time. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but something for the seller to consider in future product demos.

Junk, broke in less then a week and lost mylock because of it, save your money!!!!!!’

I had to wrestle with it for a bit while installing it, but I was able to make it all work out just fine in the end.The product arrived in a timely manner and I installed it just a day ago and was able to test it out on the bike. It’s a pretty sturdy holster.

Love this. Fits my large u-lock. Installed quickly on my rear rack. Doesn't bang around. Isn't bulky. Exactly what I was looking for.

I think they are overpriced, but they do the job, and so I shall keep them.

What a clever solution! So simple and elegant. This should be available in all bike shops.
