Super Heavy Duty Case
This is a bomber case to survive in the harshest environments. The latches take a bit of force to open, but I feel confident that my gear is safe inside. My primary use has been for the GoPro Hero 3+ with plenty of room for assorted accessories. I use this when the extra protection is needed for my equipment which is certainly not 100% of the time. For those other occasions, I have a POV case for storage or when the extra protection is not needed.I have also purchased a second set of foam inserts that I customized for various DSLR lenses. As another reviewer stated, the case is probably not large enough to provide ample padding for a DSLR body with lens attached, but would be sufficient for the camera body only. The extra foam inserts are about $12 per set.The pick and pluck foam included with the case provides easy customization for any type of application. There are three pieces (top and bottom are solid and the middle/main section is the customizable pick 'n pluck). I found that once I plucked out the general shape for the particular item, I could remove the whole block and then take a sharp knife to slice off a cross-section in order to have smaller items sit up at the perfect level.Overall, this is a great case when you need serious protection for sensitive or expensive gear. Being able to purchase additional sets of foam make this case usable for a variety of applications.

Apple Vision Pro Travel Case
At first I tried to use the pick and shape interior foam to customize the case, but as I was doing it, I realized that I had removed so much foam that it wouldn’t hold its shape anymore. I saw someone that did this on YouTube, but he didn’t try to fit the power brick in there, which takes up a lot of space. Your results will vary, depending on what you try to fit in there. I ended up taking all the foam out (Except the perimeter foam) and everything fit nicely, and is pretty snug, so nothing moves around. There is room for another cable, the lens cleaning cloth, and other small things, next to the battery. The only thing that I will add is something that I think should have come with the AVP, but didn’t, is a cover for the lenses inside. I don’t want the strap, or any stray wire to rub up against them, especially if I splurge, and get the Zeiss lenses. This is about 1/3 of the price of the apple case, and half the size, so this will fit nicely in a travel bag or backpack. Plus, it’s a Pelican, so I have the peace of mind that It won’t get wet if I get caught in the rain, and it will survive a blow if dropped.

great waterproof case, wish it was a little cheaper.
This case is big, its bulky, and IT. IS. WATERPROOF. I bought this for a nice camera and all the accessories I usually take with it (3 lenses, 2 spare batteries, removable flash, removable viewfinder, spare sd cards in a case, and lens cleaning kit), and everything fits fine. I love the pull apart foam, as you can pull it out in small squares, at different depths if necessary, and even replace it if you messed up. My camera and equipment is safe and secure, and although I have never thrown it off a building, I feel like it would most likely survive the fall. I have had this is torrential storms, on rafting trips, and have even had it free floating in the river with me on several occasions, and the inside has never been dry.One thing I will recommend however, is to get some of those silica packets, and keep them inside the case, because since it is so waterproof, if you put something in a little damp, the dampness will never leave. This is a recommendation from the 'instruction book' that comes with this case.I know the case is a little expensive, but this is definitely the best choice if you want something that will protect your equipment from dust, water, and even impact. There is also a small hole for a lock on it, and then handle is a nice feature. The handle folds down into the case for storage and so it takes up less room in a bag, but feels firm when you use it to carry the case.

Very Sturdy Case
I ordered this case for my fiance' for his Ruger SR1911 5" barrel. Initially I ordered this one because the other 1170 pre-cut foam case was just too expensive but I later found that there is a 1170 case for half the price that you can pick and pluck yourself. It fits the case just fine but it sits a little deeper than the 1170 although this case does have sufficient room and I didn't have to do much modifying of the cushion in it as I did with the 1170.The case will accommodate a full size 1911 and clips. The case is a nice size. The pick and pluck foam is very easy. For the price, it is worth it to try it out. It really isn't hard to do. After I removed the foam, I noticed that the gun sat low in the cushion, so I took some of the removed pieces and tucked them down in the foam and paid the gun on top of it. Perfect! The case itself is extremely hard. The latches are hard too but not too bad that you can't open it. This is a very secure case. I thought about returning this case but decided to keep it instead. You can actually order foam for this case and I did that just in case he wanted to use it for his Canon camera.
