If you stop using the PowerPack and unplug your devices and/or charging cords, it will turn off automatically within 30 seconds. When you connect a charging cord and device, it will automatically turn on. Alternatively, you can turn it on by pressing the side button once.

With stable power source like an AC wall plug, the pass-through would work. But, your suggested usage with solar panel could have some problems. To name one, the battery pack will reset for a split second every time the input power is connected or disconnected. It's not compatible with iPhone 11 Pro/Max because the stock cords that come with those phones are not compatible with this battery pack. With other iPhone models, this battery pack can work if you use your own iPhone cord in conjunction with the battery pack.
