This was purchased for my 50 LB cattle dog to keep her safe and allow her to be leash free both in the yard and on walks. While the remote buttons are a little tricky for my taste, I got used to it and can hit the vibrating "reminder" without looking. This works perfectly fine for our needs and isn't overly heavy. I don't know that this would be my first choice for operating 2 collars, but only because again, the buttons are a little small for my preference. We use this collar every single day with confidence that our dog will respond to the vibration (or a quick shock) and helps ensure her safety.The best part besides reasonable cost is that after a few months we suddenly were unable to turn the collar off. It continued to work, but the battery was running constantly. I sent an email inquiry about my options (since it has a full warranty) and a new collar was sent to me, with no trouble at all. Outstanding and friendly customer service. I would definitely recommend this seller and this collar.

I own a 6 month old Dane who usually listens well, besides when he is distracted and playing way out in the yard. I bought this collar to get him to listen and come when called. Before I actually put this collar on him, i tested the zap on my hand to understand what I was giving him. The highest setting on the Zap is similar to rubbing socks on carpet and touching a light switch. A dog could honestly walk right through that zap, but because my puppy is a little wimp, he listened on the first zap. I no longer really need to use this because that first initial zap pretty much made him listen. I like to know that if he gets too close to the road, that I am able to bring him back and make him listen for his own sake.Con: I only wish It would have interchangeable batteries that I do not have to have it off of him to charge it.

I bought this to keep my dog off the windows initially it worked very well he responded to it great. I got it on May 3rd, it’s May 16th and it’s already not working. When it’s charging I get a green light on it as soon as I take it off it goes away and none of the functions on it works not even the beep sound to at the very least be able to get his attention. I’m Very disappointed.

Not quite up to expectations. Although the device is setup for 4 features (light, noise, vibration and shock), three only apply to training your dog. The light feature serves no purpose. The vibration is relatively useful and 8/10 times will get my dogs attention. The shock feature falls short in my opinion. Although it does provide 100 settings for intensity and has a good, strong sensation when tested, it cannot reach through my dogs coat of fur. With some other collars, you receive two different lengths of prods. This only comes with an additional pair at the same length. Lastly, the remote functions like a universal remote and something not designed specifically for the collar. You'll have to search via the mode button to select your method (light, sound, vibration, shock) before using the same y button to activate. The buttons are too easily pressed as well, inadvertently being pressed if in pocket, clip, etc. It's durability is questionable as the plastic housing seems it will only be able to handle a few drops.

We bought this collar for our 55 lb Labradoodle. We wanted him to be able to go off leash at our lake house and didn't want him wondering over to the neighbors, etc, but wanted him to be able to go in and out of the lake freely. He swam every day with this collar on and it still works great. We have not even used the shock function, because he responds very quickly to the beep, and we had to use the vibrate function when he attempted to go visit another dog a couple houses down the way. The collar keeps the charge for a long time (we used it daily for five days and it still has only been charged one time), it's easy to fit on him, and did everything we wanted it to do and the price is excellent!

Purchased this for my extremely stubborn Doberman. Worked our way up to the highest setting and it has absolutely no effect on her. Every once in awhile she will yipe like it actually got her, but 99 times out of 100 she’s unaffected. I purchased a second one not realizing it was the same one and tried it anyway to see if the first one may have been defective. Same story, no effect. I have put longer prongs on from a different collar and have removed the rubber guards and nothing seems to work. This may be an okay product for a normal dog, but if you’ve got a stubborn dog I would recommend you splurge for a higher end product because you’ll likely be unhappy with this and have to buy a second one anyway.

I have tried MANY collars and gadgets. Nothing worked. They would either break after a week or just not work at all. My German shepherd mix has high anxiety, barks and growls when a butterfly flaps his wings. We also have a problem with him running the fence anxiously rather than enjoying our large, spacious backyard. He will refuse to come when called when he is in his anxiety mode. He also ignores the bark activated dog whistle we had in our home. He would bark right through it. I didn't want to use a collar to shock, but it is the only thing that has worked. We only needed to BEEP first then ZAP him maybe TWICE... not he doesn't even need the collar. I can carry the collar in my hand to my back yard... activate the BEEP sound and he will come running to me immediately. LOVE LOVE LOVE....
