MonacorDM-065 Dynamic Microphone

A fantastic microphone for the price point!I purchased this around 6 months ago and have used it extensively during rehearsals and live gigs, I'm lead guitarist and vocals in my current project and I've found this mic sounds great live and looks amazing aswell, I've had many compliments on its aesthetic, it's got such a nice 50's vibe to it and it looks so great in chrome and blue, so much more interesting than any standard shaped mic, and I also like that it's so big as I tend to put my face against my mic alot and it really feels like your singing into something.One thing I like is that it seems to have a high sound pressure level and you can sing very loud into it before it will distort, which I've found other mics can clip or distort on louder notes. Also the blue foam inside acts as a great pop screen, even when singing very close to the mic I dont tend to get any clipping from loud "P" or "S" syllables. I've had sound engineers tell me after gigs that it sounds great live, one of whom actually owns the really expensive Shure version of this mic (around £350 I think) and says the difference is minimal!Would definitely recommend!

I really wanted to love this thing. It looks great, but unfortunately I got a defective one or something. I can't get a usable signal from this mic regardless of what I throw at it. With the full +64db of gain available on my interface and all volume and output levels at 100%, I can barely hear my voice through it. This is more gain than I've had to give any other mic I've ever used, and it still wasn't usable. I tested this setup with another dynamic and the room noise was clipping.. You should not need +100db of gain unless there's an impedance issue, which is what I'm guessing is the problem here.Edit: Decided to keep it, opened it up and it had a bad connection. Works a bit better with that fixed. Updated +1 star because it does function, but QC needs work apparently.It feels nice. It's heavy, and looks stunning, but it doesn't work right. Huge disappointment after waiting for shipping from another country.. I collect interesting mics, I really wanted to keep this, but I'm probably going to return it. Not sure if I'll wait weeks for another or just get a refund and buy something else.On a positive note, it did arrive before it was expected to, but it still took a couple of weeks.

Este micrófono será seguramente como diseño, el más bonito de este tipo, al abrir el estuche te quedas clipsado, eso en cuanto a diseño y construcción del mismo, aunque en calidad de sonido, me ha parecido menos óptimo, le he probado con una mesa de mezclas y tienes que subir bastante la ganancia, pero bueno, en conjunto el resultado es muy positivo y muy recomendable, yo le volvería a comprar, mención también extraordinaria para el envío y seguimiento por parte de amazon, como siempre buena profesionalidad.Muchas gracias

Ormai la tecnologia porta a fare strumenti non di marca ottimi, questo è un esempio.Comprato con aspettative mediocri mi sono ricreduto. A livello dinamico il microfono risponde davvero bene, è un microfono cosidetto "Flat", enfatizza il tipo di voce che si possiede, la voce esce potente e pulita, difficilmente fischia, provato in sala prove e Live, resa veramente professionale. Ultima cosa, è Made in Bremen, Germany ! E mi permetto di dire che i Tedeschi non scherzano in certe cose. Qualità/Prezzo ottima.

Das Monacor DM-065 ist ein dynamisches Gesangsmikrophon mit Schalter im klassischen Retro-Look. Geliefert wird es ohne Reduziergewinde in einem schaumstoffgepolsterten Plastikköfferchen mit Klickverschluss. Es ist vom Format etwas kompakter als das Shure Super 55 Deluxe, blinkt blitzeblank verchromt und die Schlitze sind wie beim Vorbild mit blauem Schaumstoff unterlegt. Klingt tadellos, ist robust gebaut (Schalter steht nicht raus wie beim Shure) und ist sein Geld absolut wert. Würde ich sofort wieder kaufen.

Micrófono bien acabado, bien presentado y con buena estética. Caja de transporte acolchada. Sonido bueno para su precio. recomendable.
