Punisher MAX Vol. 3: Mother Russia

The third installment of Punisher max by Ennis flows into mother Russia. Nick Fury assigns a top secret, almost impossible, mission to non other than our ex marine Punisher. Only this time he's bringing a tag a long... They literally have to drop into Russia undetected, sneak into a nuclear missile silo, and bring back a six year old girl who has a new flesh eating germ virus running through her veins. How will frank react having a side kick? How will they survive the task at hand? Great read...best of the first three volumes in my opinion...I give it 4.6/5 stars!

Great art hampered by a story that is an odd fit for The Punisher. Now not to say that the story was bad, but it just didn't fit the Punisher mold for me. The characters in the story were great though. I truly love the Russian General. The part about the Punisher killing Russian soldiers bothered me a bit. Not too sure how the Punisher would feel about that. Worth a read but not one that I will read until the covers fall off.

An awesome action thriller in comic book format. I love Garth's take on the Punisher and Nick Fury. Dougie Braithwaite's artwork is top notch. The characters and diaglogue that Garth comes up with are priceless ("Oh sh**. He brought the Mongolian."). I've ordered all of the other Garth Ennis Punisher volumes after reading Mother Russia (can't wait to read the next!)

what else can be said that hasn't been said already? Garth Ennis continues to show he was born to write the Punisher, and this volume is no exception. great artwork, incredbily good story, nothing bad to say about this one at all!

A great story with lots of twists and turns. The Punisher basically wipes out the entire Russian army! Nick Fury also whips I guy with his belt which is really funny.

I cannot get enough of Ennis and Punisher in his hands. It is a pity that he left and that Punisher had to die.... but aunavoidable.

The entire Punisher MAX series is great. Its gritty, no nonsense and too the point. Great stories, awesome art work and one of my favorite characters written in a very adult fashion. Highly Recommended!

Great Punisher story

There is no dip in quality when it comes to this series. This has been my favourite story so far, it's just endless action amid great story telling and beautiful art work. Buy it, read it, love it, you won't regret it!
