I can't believe I have not left a review on this book. I love cherise Sinclair. I enjoyed this book very much. I like the fact that the characters are an older couple but actually not really. The woman in the story has raised her children already. What I like the most is that the couple have real chemistry. That's the thing about Ms. Sinclair is that she can really put together a picture of two people having chemistry. The power exchange is very realistic and something to actually enjoy. It's not over the top boring on abuse some books have been writing. It's actually real power exchange. I have read this story three times.

4 ⭐️I enjoyed this one better than the first. Simon is a good character and not as overpowering as Logan, so I connected better with him. I really liked Rona. I liked that she was an older character who wasn’t afraid to take charge when required, and I also enjoyed that she made the younger Dom lose control of the scene. I thought that was funny.The chemistry between the two was off the charts and well done. It was good seeing her being the handbrake and I understood her reasons for it. After seeing more of Logan, Becca and Jake I’m looking forward to Jake’s book

I made an unwitting mistake. The first book in the bdsm romance genre I ever read was by Cherise Sinclair. My mistake was that I thought all books would be wonderfully characterized and intricately wrought stories. I found out otherwise! Only a handful of writers come close to Cherise Sinclair's talent. This novella is a wonderful taste of her writing. If you haven't read her other books, DO SO!! So very worth your time!

Like most of Sinclair's stories, this one was a winner. But I gave it only 4 stars b/c of the length. There's a reason her books run 200-300 pages, she takes the needed time to develop her characters so you understand why they're doing what they're doing.... this book @ barely 100 didn't allow for the necessary structure.The ending just seemed to ..... end. I'm sure Simon & Rona, like most of Sinclair's other characters will surface in her other Dark Haven books when other characters find their HEA, but this story deserved more of a proper "tie up" than it was given.Lots of heat & realistic intro into the BDSM scene but left me hanging.

Rona is focused in living life according to her five year plan. After finally shedding herself of a boring, loveless marriage she is determined to sample as many men as possible over yhe next five years and never the same man twice. She meets Master Simon on her first trip into a BDSM club. He's charismatic, gorgeous and sexy as sin. He scenes with her, leaving her breathless and sated after which she thanks him and walks away. Simon is intrigued by Rona from first glance. Imagine his displeasure when she informs him she's not interested in more than a one time thing. Not willing to take no for an answer he sets out to win her. When he can't seem to win with her he setsvout to give her what she thinks she wants.....variety. after all isn't variety the spice of life? Be careful what you wish for Rona!

In here you will find wonderful characters and an incredible storyline! I highly recommend anything Ms. Sinclair has written!! She has an amazing way with her words! I love when an author can put me right into the middle of the action as if I'm standing there, watching it all happening! Again! I can highly recommend this and other series written by Ms. Sinclair!!! Happy joyful reading to you!!!

Always buy anything by Cherise Sinclair as I always love the characters in her books. I also like the way she always continues to bring them into other books along the way as she continues the series. This is a great story about Rona and Simon and their love story. Simon realizes right away that Rona is the sub for him. Simon and Rona are both more mature individuals than many of those playing at their club. Simon realizes he wants someone who can share his views and interests in a more mature manner. He falls for Rona almost immediately, however Rona is recently just out of a marriage that was very boring in all ways and decides it is because she needs variety in men even though she is very attracted to Simon. Knowing this Simon has to find a way to make Rona see that he is the one and only Dom for her. Recommend and I also recommend the rest of the series as well. Her characters always intermingle in other books.

Sweet but short novella, ethical decent Dom/sub ie always play safe, always have a safe word, always have backup, preferably get a reference for your Dom because it's also clear there's a lot of slime balls out there.One small niggle: the book actually comprises 82 pages, ie the story runs from page 6-88, with the extra pages required to make the length upto 99 pages being excerpts of other books etc

WOW, This was absolutely awesome. I instantly loved Simon from Book 1, when he was such a gentleman, you couldn't help but feel the undercurrent of his strength of character and his "domness", I was so excited to know this was his book and Rona couldn't have been a more perfect match for him.Their chemistry is absolutely electric and even though she fights it at every turn, thinking that she should "sample" many men after her split from her husband, ahe just can't deny the pull that keeps dragging her back to Master Simon. And I have to say, I can't blame her - he is a very persistent man once he realises what he wants, and what he wants is her.As always with Cherise the writing is fabulous and the love/sex scenes are scorching hot, but the love/romance scenes also touch something inside you as well they are just written so darn well! This lady has a magic touch and as per normal I just couldn't put the book down, simply amazing!it goes without saying that I would recommend this book and it doesn't have to be read in order.A must have for any BDSM fans for Cherise fans, 5 Stars.

I have just started reading this author's books...actually it was the first book Club Shadowland.....I enjoyed it so much that I started buying that series all 14 of them...then saw this series too, well that was me totally hooked. Do yourself a favour and have a go too...just brilliant...well thought out and wonderful characters.

I like Rona and Simon and I liked their story. This is not as long as some of the others in this series but it works as a shorter story in this instance although it does slightly lose out on the wider context of their lives and how it impacts on their other relationships. Having said that there is very little to fault here. I am a fan of the author as you will see if you read any other review I've written, and she doesn't disappoint. She writes really well. the sex is not just thrown in and padded out with a story around it. The romance is not incidental. Even the setting is given substance and a sense of reality. As a whole you get a genuinely erotic romance which engages your emotions and your libido.

This may only be a novella (just over 100 pages) but it's still an addictive read that will keep you gripped right from the beginning.We have met Simon briefly before in book 1 so it was nice to see his story. This book is based on his meeting with Rona (a new submissive) and their budding relationship- both in BDSM and life in general- from interested play partners to much more.As with all the books in the series, the sex is hot but ultimately it is a beautiful love story that you'll happily read in one sitting.A great series overall and a lovely little novella.
