Amazing amp
Amazing amp at a very reasonable price. I have been using pyle for years and have never had any issues. Was just time for an upgrade and couldn't be happier. Easy to install. Love having the accessible volume control right next to the head unit. Plenty of room to grow with backup channels if needed. Atleast for my setup.

Only good for a paper wieght
Does not work out of the box. Of course I waited a few months to install it in my rzr due to life getting in the way so the return option is no longer available. Good thing it was a cheap price, Get what you pay for... The infinity radio works; using same power source and ground source so I know that is not it. Test light shows good power from bat and ACC going into the amp. But still no go. Just a note, I am not a first timer. I have been installing and building custom car audio for about 25 yrs and this device is about as simple as they come.

Power spec VERY inflated
Ok, this is an "OK" amp for the money. However, the power rating not even close. I used this for patio sound project and it does well in that setting. Decent sound (again for the money), I doubt it would perform well on a boat because it would struggle to overcome background noise. I gave it 3 out of 5 because of the power rating, however in smaller low (or no) background noise applications (projects) the value would go up.

Good for what it costs
First of all, all the other reviewers are right. This is obviously not 100w RMS per channel. It has a 10amp fuse and 12ga power/ground leads, so really it cant be over 150w RMS total. I bought it knowing that so I wasn't disappointed. Really, its probably around 30w-40w RMS per channel. I have it in my jeep wrangler yj, I got this because the internal amp in my headunit burned up from water, and WOW!! I used to have my headunit on max and still only hear every other word (over engine/wind) with the top on, but now I ride with the top off with the radio on 20 out of 35 and I can here it clearly but if i go to 30 it distorts to something awful [I never get that loud anyway]. I have it powering 2 4x6's and 2 6.5's. Make sure you do 2 things though when installing. If you dont plan on using the volume knob with the kit (like me) turn the volume control/""gain" knob up to about 2/3's to 3/4 of the way [NOT ALL THE WAY or it distorts] before you install and make sure you strip the black/red/blue wires more than whats already stripped. I didn't and It wouldnt play so I re-did it and stripped it more and now it plays. Anybody who says this isnt loud enough probably did not turn up the volume control because it goes from the it being a 4 to the volume going to 11The pros: I can actually hear my tunes going down the road, A lot of sound for a 40$ amp, easy to install, water resistant, very small/compact, plenty of power for me. Plays stereo sound, black color hides well under my seatCons: NOT 800W (but plenty loud), not bridgeable, nothing else reallyIn short, If you buy this knowing that its power is completely overrated you won't be dissapointed. It may have been the best 40$ i've spent on my Jeep in a while. If you get this for powering say a subwoofer or to bridge the channels, It just wont happen. I havent tried using it to play 2ohms but It is plenty of power for me.Now I just need a subwoofer :D

Installed in a boat and they work great.
I installed two of these in an open bow CrownLine boat driving eight 6.5 inch Polk Audio speakers and they work great. They are very small, so they were east to install under the driver's console which made the install much easier!!

useless ...............avoid ......................
I can not attest to what kind of sound is produced as it arrived 3 days after I ordered it DOA , I spent 4 hours in 90+ degree temps with high humidity trying to get this until to work and gave up for the day spent from the heat ... spent 2 more hours the next morning before I threw in the towel .... no way to tell if it is powering on ( no indicator lights ) I never got sound so assuming since it was wired correctly it just didnt work ... also determined it was a return because 1)box only taped shut no shrink wrap 2) missing waterproof bag 3) some of the wires did not have wire ties on them .... empty plastic bag inside I suspect was supposed to have part of the wiring harness in it .... all that said no way its 800 watts it only has a 10 amp fuse so it would be 140 watt MAX if it was 100% efficient ( amps x max voltage 14.4 ) so that would mean best case scenario 35 watt rms per channel but again that would be at 100% efficiency ... amps normally are closer to 75-80% efficient ... I would guess this is probably about 20 watts per channel ( if it works ) in my case its ZERO watts per channel

Awesome
Great little amp. Was quite surprised with it being Pyle. Never had good success with their products till now. Lots of people wrote reviews about it being under powered. At first I had it hooked up with only two channels with one speaker on each channel. Was not very loud at all. Turned the gain knob up half way and was significantly louder. But was still not loud enough to hear over sound of wind at hwy speeds. As soon as I hooked up 2 more speakers one to each of the other channels it really came to life. Apparently this amp needed a load on all 4 channels because I got double the volumn off the first two speakers when the second two were hooked up. Two 400 watt Pyle hydra speakers in my saddle bags. Both running off channel 1 and 2. And 2 140 watt Rockville speakers up front. Pioneer head unit supplying rca audio to amp and rca audio to a 400 watt powered rockville sub. Very pleased with my bikes stereo.
