Pretty good value for money
QUALITY: Build quality is solid, and has great video quality for price. Records 4k at 30fps, 1080p at 60fps, 720p at 120fps.microSD CARD: I am using 64GB SDXC U3 card.CLIP LENGTH: Seems to switch to new file about every 8.5 minutes of recording [email protected] STABILIZATION: works in 4k and 1080p, but not in 720p. Footage stabilzes pretty well, much better than my expectations.BATTERY: Comes with 2 batteries. Takes about 4 hours for battery to charge, and there is no external charger, you have to charge battery inside the camera so camera is occupied during that time. Also, battery looses charge even when the unit is off. I have been able to use the camera for about 45 minutes on a single charge.REMOTE: Remote works fantastic, you need to enable RF in the setting everytime though. I had difficulty in paring for the first time, but in later attempts never had a problem.WATERPROOF CASE: Works wonderful, buttons are hard to press though. When in case mic is less sensitive as expected but still effective (picks up voice close to the camera only).LENS: Lens is fish eye type so all videos and photos have fish eye effect. That is by design. Being fish eye, lens is protruding so is prone to getting scratched in the pocket so be careful with that.UI: Easy to navigate and get use to.TOUCH: touch is responsive.FIRMWARE : no firmware update yet, checked with online support and they have no information of any planned update.NUANCES: Time resets every time camera is turned on to a date from 2017. Filenames are time stamped, so order of saved files becomes effectively random. Makes me think what happens if I start recording right at the same seconds difference from the startup - would it overwrite the previous file with same timestamped name or create a unique filename? Did not experiment with it but something to be vary of.OVERALL: Overall this is a fantastic camera for the price, did not break bank and I got to keep $275 in my pocket, I would rate it at 5 stars even with the above imperfection/issues. DBPOWER you did a great job, now fix the above issues and release a firmware, really.

Good little gadget
Good size for the camera, very light and easy to carry. Pictures are ecemt quality, gets a little grainy with the waterproof case. Took over 300 pics and the battery was unaffected which is great. Buttons work great even with the case on.Wish there was a way to turn off the wide angle view (haven't figured out how). Also when you plug it in to charge, the camera automatically turns on, so you have to make sure to turn it off while charging. One odd thing is that the case has one half of a buckle/clip on the bottom but there's nothing to snap it into. Not sure if it was supposed to come with a mount but it's unusual

My absolutely new favorite thing!
It seems like a lot to ask of a camera for this low price, so I had to check it out!Pros:Comes in a sorta glass box shielding it from water and other elements. The "waterproof housing" as they call it is designed in such a way that you can click all the important buttons on the outside. It has a kind of belt that allows you to mount it pretty much anywhereHas many features available in awesome cameras, you get to choose if you want to take simple photos, videos, burst photos, or time-lapsed photos. It also allows you to adjust settings AND playback everything, as well. Which is hella impressive since it's is light and small! Can connect it to wifi and to an app on phone or computer!Cons:Don't forget to buy an SD card along with this camera because, spoiler alert, it needs one!Needs charging, of course, before use. Requires 5 hrs chargingThis is a wonderful action camera that is mountable, waterproof, has wifi options, and most importantly provide excellent photo and video quality. Definitely recommend it!

Worked once...
Camera arrived well packaged. Camera turned on initially and recorded 28 minutes at 4K before it stopped working. The blue light on the back blinks while recording but mine after the 28 minutes of constant recording stayed on. None of the buttons worked so I pulled the battery and put it back in and now the camera is dead. I recharged the battery (red light in front camera on while charging) and it still does not turn on. Luckily the camera auto saves every 10 minutes so I had 3 clips that saved to my memory card. The video came out surprisingly well, the footage at 4K with IS on looked decent. I had it mounted to the handle bar of my bike in 55*f weather so I don’t believe it overheated and bricked itself.

Worth a buy if you're looking at similar GoPros
I've bought another DBPower action camera in the past and was really impressed with it so when it was time to upgrade, I bought this camera. The shipping took a bit longer than it was first estimated but I think it was worth the wait. The camera came packaged really well and everything was boxed securely.Opening the box you're greeted with a "Thank you" message on the lid and a certificate stating that everything has been inspected by a worker to comply with a list of standards.Unboxed, the camera comes with a spare battery (not counting the one inside the camera), control watch, helmet mounts, minimal case (less bulky and good for vlogging), two sticky pads for mounting, and a USB cable. The camera quality is really good and is comparable to a GoPro Hero 6. The battery life has been mediocre at around 53-65 minutes with the wifi on. The outer case has held up well to the mud and sand that it sees, keeping the camera safe from the elements.
