GenExhaust compatible with Honda EU2200i/EU2000i/EU1000i Generator 1" silicone tubing exhaust extension 4 foot length.

I wanted to quick disconnect from my westinghouse generator - so I bought a piece of threaded pipe and cut the threads off of both sides to use as a coupler. works great and I can pop the hose on in a couple of seconds and start it up. It does get HOT as you should probably expect - so don't touch the freaking hose. ha ha ha

Now I can safely get the exhaust away from the RV when running the generator and keep the generator safe and secure.

First I wold like to know the maximum continuous exhaust temperature that this silicon pipe will withstand.The above photo is your Westinghouse WGen5300v generator with the muffler cover removed.The exhaust is through my garage concrete block wall.I used a 3 1/2” flu pipe liner and a centered 1 1/4” galvanized water pipe with the exhaust through it.I measured an exhaust temperature of 384 degrees F with a load of 4.5 KWNext day update:Upon inspecting outside exhaust exit, I found the silicon hose melted and collapsed.The exhaust temperature was measured at the outside surface of the silicon hose by themuffler. The hose inside gas stream had to be over 500 degrees F.A replacement flex steel exhaust pipe is on order.The silicone will NOT work on a 5.3KW generator.

It fit ok a little short but did not hold up

Needed to remove back cover and three bolts on the muffler to get it off and weld adapter to the muffler

Served to route the exhaust from near my camper door.

The dimensions specify 3/4" mating connection and installation picture depicts the exhaust extension at the end of the muffler exhaust pipe. The product description shows it attached to a honda generator.The product does not mate with the honda 2200 I just bought (new). I don't know what honda version it fits. The honda pipe is like 1/2"? Way smaller and the product rests on the muffler housing. I haven't welded it yet, but I fear I will weld through the muffler housing quicker than the exhaust pipe. I might not take the chance. This is not compatible with exhaust pipes smaller than 3/4". The hose clamp is high quality. The product is nicely machined.
