Great permanent ink
This is the best permanent black ink for pen and ink and with watercolors. Fast drying, deep black. I use in a high end Platinum pen with an UEF tip and love the combination.

This will permanently stain your fingers and that’s great
So I may or may not have attempted to suction the ink out of this cartridge to put it into a converter for another pen. And this may or may not have been an absolutely terrible idea that left me with black rims on my fingernails that will not wash off.So while I can’t say anything about how it writes, I can say it’s a beautiful, striking black color, long lasting, and waterproof! If you need last minute dark nails for your Halloween costume, honestly, give it a try!

Great ink
Quick service for a great water resistant black ink. I’ve used it in fountain pens for a long time. Cartridges are convenient and no mess!

Great under watercolor.
Very reliable ink cartridges. Love them for line and wash work. Let it dry and no smears or reactivation. Recommend.

Good price, good ink.
Sorry, I don't "love it" inanimate objects, except my car and gun.Strange that this ink is here directly. Supposedly, it was only available in Japan after September 2016, but I'll take it.Yes, it does dry fast. Even when it still looks wet on some surfaces. I bought it to use mainly on cardboard (VERY SMOOTH) holders for coins. Pigment is archival and none of the Sharpie bleed/fade/discoloration.It is not PURE carbon or it would be dark, dark brown. But, not a problem.Going into the Platinum 3776 Century was a little tough. Although it does not screw in, twisting while inserting is necessary. My first time actually shot ink out of the nib before I learned the trick. This is a very smooth ink on bond paper (my 28# test stuff.) The Japanese M nib flows a little too well though. Time to go F or SF.I bought the four pack just to be sure before spending a huge amount on a bottle. A bottle of this ink is next!

Very dark black waterproof ink
I use a Crown Fountain pen for ink sketching when I'm outside making nature sketches. I always use this ink because it is a true dark black and it is waterproof so I can add watercolor paint to my sketches later. It dries quickly and I have not had any bleeding of the ink when I put the watercolors on after I get back inside. There are specific ways to make quality ink and this brand meets all of those. I bought the cartridges but this same ink also comes in bottles if you use a dip pen or a fountain pen that you manually refill. It is my favorite ink so I definitely recommend it.

Does not move at all if it gets wet
Great ink in a convenient format if you want to avoid the mess that this ink can make in bottle form.

Great water resistant ink
If you give this ink enough time to dry it deals well with water making it good for watercolor or even putting dye based ink on top of it. I tested on Midori paper. Itried Rorhrer & Klinger SketchInk first because I heard that carbon black can smear, however it seems a gentle touch makes Carbon Black just as good
