Q: can you use this on wet hair?

Hi, We don't recommend this as we have consulted with many hair stylists through our product development. We have found that using a flat iron on wet hair boils the strands from inside out and we don't recommend that technique! Thanks,Xtava

Q: Does this product have a warrenty and for how long? Also is this a brand new product- don't understand the open box statement.

I'm not sure about the warranty. The open box item means it was opened for some reason, most likely a return that someone opened and sent back, but still new in box, and still unused.

Q: Is there a way to lock the temperature so that it doesnt change if you accidentally push the temperature button?

Yes. The instructions say to press the power button twice to lock the temperature in and press and hold to unlock the temperature.
