Really good sound
Used these for 34"scale stand tuning bass. Sound amazing and much fuller than lightweight guage

Not suitable for intended purpose
The string was far too thick at the ball end, it wouldn't fit into the bridge and was protruding by about 20mm. Also I'm not sure "long scale" is entirely accurate as the thinning end of the string that goes around the tuning peg was a good inch below the nut. Even had the ball end sat in the bridge correctly it would still have been a good half inch off at least. No idea what it sounds like because I gave up and spent 15 minutes carefully extracting the string from where it has got lodged halfway into the bridge.
