Awesomely Sharp, money well spent

This radio does most of what I want. Sound quality is fine and Bluetooth works well. One minor gripe is that when turned to standby the display always goes into power save mode and dims to a very low level making it impossible to read the time in all but the darkest conditions.

It looks smart & well made, but isn't a great radio. It's easy enough to set the presets once you've read the book of words, & easy to use although the buttons are a bit small & flimsy. The speaker quality is OK, & the Bluetooth connection is good. The radio itself is the frustrating thing; the signal drops in & out regularly, whereas the old £10 one I usually use in the office keeps a solid connection when in the same place.

I want to buy a clock with a radio, but most reviews in other products said that the sound quality are either bad or decent. Also, the display is too bright. I end up buying a radio with clock. It has much better sound quality. The led display is smaller (hence, less bright) but still readable at night. The wooden material also blends perfectly with the furniture.

Purchased this radio without having seen many reviews.When arrived I was impressed by the look and feel of the radio. However, when turning it on and listening to some radio stations I was most dissapointed at the sound quality. Playing around the different sound settings made little difference.As such, it is sadly going back.
