makes a big difference, even on clicky blues
i was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews stating that getting o-rings for a keyboard with clicky mx blues was a waste of time, but I tried these anyway. They make a huge difference! My keyboard is by no means silent (or even quiet, really), but it's *far* quieter than it was. The reduced travel is noticeable, so maybe consider the 0.2mm versions if that's a concern.

Great product, lasted 4 years
I bought this back in 2018 and threw it out in 2022.They were great while they lasted! Defiantly cut down on the noise that my keyboard was making super effectively. They kinda wore out and got a little bit sticky at bottom out, so I just tossed them. Good product over all

These are the correct O-rings for Dampener's
I have ordered a bunch of O-rings over the past few weeks to dampen my keycaps, looking for a good set that are the proper thickness and the correct hardness to dampen the sound. These are the ones you want don't buy the cheaper ones in higher quantities, they are too thin and soft to dampen anything.

A bit quieter due to softer than my first o-ring
I prefer this Captain O-ring over:Refaxi 120Pcs Rubber O-Ring Switch Dampeners Dark Red for Cherry MX Keyboard DampersIt is quieter and softer. Expecting 30%-40% noise reduction.

A bit quieter, but biggest difference is in the feel
I have a CoolerMaster QuickFire XT (blue switches) and reckoned my keys were a little bit noisy considering my housemates were awoken when I started my homework in the morning. I decided to go with these O-rings as I quite like the chiclet keyboards on some laptops and feel like I can type very fast with them, so these "fat" rings (as opposed to the red "thin" rings) should do the trick.Installation was simple, albeit a bit tedious. I don't have a keycap puller so I fashioned one from a paper clip. (You should do the same instead of paying $6.99.) I initially only installed the O-rings on the 26 "letter" keys because I wasn't sure if I'd like them or not. Of course, as soon as I hit the space or wanted a capital letter the difference (in noise and feel) was massive, so I ended up putting the o-rings on all the "main" keys too (shift, enter, backspace, alt, etc.).I quite like the difference. It is noticeably quieter, although most definitely not silent. I would say the sound level is reduced 30%. But the biggest difference is the feel, as the travel is much shorter and the keys "bounce back" at the bottom of the stroke - as a result, my typing speed went up about 12 wpm. Overall, would recommend especially if you are wanting a change in the feel as well as the sound, but if your intention is only to reduce noise, these may not be the best solution. Still, a good thing to try before buying a new keyboard with different switches, however.

They were not as effective as I hoped and they changed the feel of the keys.
These O-rings saved my keyboard from getting trashed. They made my keyboard a bit quieter and softer to type on. However, they didn't dampen the sound as much as I hoped, and they changed the feel of the keys slightly. They are also a bit pricey.
