More efficient baseball practice
I’ve had several different powernet products. The nets are well made and last a long time. This backstop is the best yet. It saves us from chasing down foul balls most of practice. At over $6/baseball, it will pay for itself. It isn’t difficult to set up or break down but is large and on heavier side. Two coaches set this up in less than 7 minutes and breakdown is even faster. The biggest issue was the delivery. It took far longer than originally stated but worth it.

My Family is getting bigger and so are my Nets!
As my boys get older so does their abilities. When my oldest started out we just practiced in the backyard with a 7x7 powernet and now we have upgraded to the full backstop. He is a power hitter but does not always hit the ball right and pops it over the 7x7 net. When he first popped them over, they would just land it our backyard. Now they are going into the neighbor’s yard with some speed. I started being more cautious and not doing as much batting practice at home. But with the recent rain our fields have been closed. Our team and us has been trying to get practice where every we can. One place is at our local park that has an open area but no backstop. This presented a problem the first time we tried it with foul balls heading towards parents. We had to station coaches to knock down fouls. Then I saw Powernet release the portable backstop and had to get it. This solved so many problems this season with practice in the backyard and at our local parks. The quality is awesome and consistent with Powernets other nets. The net is huge and a little challenging to get the hang of it for the first time. Once we figured it out it went up and down quickly. It folds down to the size and weight of a popup shelter. My only suggestion would be wheels on the bag to make it more comfortable. I look forward to what else Powernet with create. May I suggest a portable batting cage.

Perfect When there is no Field!
When I saw this product, I knew it would be very useful for my baseball league. With all this rain in the North East US, I have used it many time this season. I sometimes need to move games to fields with no back stop or sometimes move a younger division to the outfield, so I can have multiple games going on. Having this portable backstop, has paid for itself 2 times over. It is easy to setup, even when there is just one person. A teenager can setup by himself. Because of its height, the wind can easily take it down, but with stakes its works perfectly. I have used it for older kids too, they can practice pitching without a catcher, which frees up other players for other drills. This is a must buy for a back yard, wish I had this for my kids when they were younger. The PowerNet company is the best around for portable softball/baseball nets. Their customer service is always there to help. I have call many times for broken pieces due to kids or coaches improper breakdown of the nets.

Size good. Minor defect
size is great. I have been using occasionally for about a year now for tball. Small plastic cap inserts where poles are inserted cracked not long after purchase. I would advise them to be metal or include extras in the original packaging.

Good product
My son isn't exactly a power hitter, so maybe it would break if you had a large hitter trying to hit bombs into the net. But my son is small and loves to hit off a tee or side pitch into the net. It takes up space but not too much. Mine is fading but it is constantly in the sun.

Heavy!
It is huge! We only had it for a week & returned it because it is too difficult to tear down & way too heavy for my wife to carry in the bag.

Great Baseball and Softball Net for Practices
In 30 minutes we went from unpacking the box to batting practice. The instructions were detailed with pictures for each step, and each step is super easy and clear. The net is made from high quality materials that can take hundreds of batted balls. It's heavy enough to withstand your strongest hitter and even a gust of wind. The design engineers deserve a lot of credit for developing such an awesome and well-made product that can fold and unfold into a canvas carrying bag. PoweNet is the industries best sporting net provider, second to none, in my opinion. They delivered on this portable backstop and we cannot wait to see what they do next. Impressed, again!
