Can you fill it with gravel

I've owned 2 in the past, the first I filled with common pea gravel (purchased at walmart) and honestly the pebbles were still a bit to large.  The second I did a bit of digging around until I found very small gravel, similar to the kind they use in aquariums, and filled it up just a bit less. Both times the bag held up for about a year and a half, BUT I did keep my bag outside attached to a large tree. The wear of outdoors gets to them quick, and also beware of cats. Mine went nuts and were always clinging to it.
I'd say it's a good investment, but unless you have already acquired some skill with a stationary "ground" bag with gravel or steel shot.  If not, fill it slowly and strike with caution. Start slow and slowly increase power (like over months) and fill slowly (also over months). And if you keep it outside or at a place people can walk by and strike it, PUT UP A WARNING SIGN. I had a bunch of neighbor kids that lived around me at the time, and they thought they'd come punch my bag. It didn't end well, obviously. Someone with no prior conditioning can really hurt themselves on accident. Also nab some dit da jow, it's not really necessary for a normal heavy bag, but it's pretty necessary if you're upping to gravel or shot. Use it before and after. Train safe!

Question 2

I have 3 boys ages 6, 8 & 9 and this appears to be perfect for beginners....what sort of mounting system comes with it? Any?

It is a great punchbag - both my 8 yr old son and I use it. It comes with three chains attached to a swivel ring as shown in the picture, but no other mounting hardware

Does it come filled up or do I have to buy sand and fill it up my self?

It does NOT come filled. You can purchase sand or fill with old clothes etc... depends on who will use it. Very thick and sturdy. Comes with chains etc but I bought a tough ceiling bracket. Hope this helps.

What are the dimension of package for shiping?????

it came in a 20x14x6.5 inch box. I had some other small items in the order too. So i bet they could fold it into a box half the size.
