My cousin's wife gifted me a Correlle dinner set when I visited them in Canada. She told me this brand is better than other brands. This specific brand is durable, uses less storage space, lightweight, doesn't get grey marks, is good for a dishwasher. Overall fantastic! I wanted to buy more to have a larger set. Only downside is in the UK it's double the price compared the prices I saw in Canada.

Though the dinner plates are slightly smaller than I imagined ( yes, I did measure them against our current ones ) , we are delighted with this product .The colour is lovely and they are indeed very light.We were a little worried regarding the reviewers who have received poorly packaged or chipped items. All I can say is that ours was packed with obvious care and separated with soft foam and cardboard machine cut to fit and separate the items.We still have the lunch plates and large bowls to arrive, as we bought the three items in a bundle ,but fingers crossed , the others are as well packaged.All in all , we have exactly what we hoped for and thus a 5 star review.

Pro: Lightweight and durable. Microwaveable. Looks great!Cons: Dinner plate is a little too big for my Neff dishwasher, have to slot the plate a bit more slanted to avoid getting in the way of the rotatingspray arm.

I have a set of Corelle Winter White plates, bowls and side plates which I bought in an outlet store in New Jersey. My cousin had some and I really loved them.In those days (1995) there was no weight limits on luggage so I brought them back sandwiched between the clothing in two very large suitcases. In the hold, they were treated to the normal suitcase abuse. All survived!So the ones I have were seconds and are now 40 years old. My family of six knocked them, dropped them, banged them on taps, reheated dinners on them and generally abused them. I still have almost all my original set of six of each plus some I was able to add from online sellers. I can honestly say that these are the best and most hardwearing dishes I have ever owned. Yes, you do occasionally lose one or two from unexplained breakage. Generally they will survive a drop from a height , or a bang on a kitchen tap, but occasionally a bowl will suddenly and unexpectedly split in the dishwasher?Corelle dishes stack very tightly together. Well the plates do, the bowls less so. The angle on the winter white bowls is wrong. With better design, they could stack even tighter. You will find that 12 Corelle plates take up half the space of 12 China or ceramic dishes. Even the bowls take up less space than you would think.I put mine in the dishwasher all the time and they come out sparkling. They feel thin and light in your hand, and are good for elderly people who find lifting dishes difficult.I would recommend these to anybody who hasn’t tried them.

I have a Corelle dinner set that is about 24 years old and are used everyday. They have lived through some rough kids times and apart from the odd scuff marks on some edges, they are still great. I bought this white dinner set as a Christmas gift for a family member, they're delighted. So light.
