These pads made my old earbuds usable again
This is an item that I really didn't think I would find, but I am glad I tried. These replacement foam pads for mostly the old style earbuds breathed a new life into an old set that I have. I always liked the earbuds but using them without pads on them hurt the inside of my ears after just a few minutes of use. The buds have a great sound and came with a Sony Discman that I once had, so I decided to try to find some pads for them. Naturally I went to Amazon's site and did a search in electronics. The search returned all kinds of replacements for exact models of buds, so I kept scrolling through the results until I came upon the ones that I am reviewing. Actually when I found these, I also found several other similar products, but they were for higher quantities, and I did not need that many, so I bought the smaller package. The hole in these pads are so small that I thought I was going to damage them trying to put them on, but with a little persuasion they finally slid on and they fit perfectly. They put some new life into my old earbuds that I would never throw away, because they sound so great. When in doubt, look on Amazon.

Larger than needed but great price
Since these are pretty much universal, they are too large for my bluetooth earbud. However, the earbuds for my bluetooth are almost just as expensive as the bluetooth itself, so this is a good, cheap alternative. If I throw the bluetooth in my purse, it is very likely that the pad will come off and I have to put it back on before use. It is actually more cushy and comfortable than the earbud that came with the bluetooth, also. I think the rubber ones they normally use are uncomfortable.

Can't Beat The Price
These cheap little earpads are a lifesaver. With lots of sweaty workouts eating away at foam covered earbuds, all of them will eventually rot and come apart. The price on these little generic products was very appealing. They've already lasted longer than the originals. Like other reviewers have pointed out, they fit VERY tightly on standard earbuds. For me, the easiest way to mount these is to turn them wrong side out, hold them tightly against the earbud with thumb and forefinger of the left hand, the carefully roll the edges of the foam over the earbud itself with your right hand. (I'm right-handed.) Do NOT get frustrated just because they're tight. They're made that way on purpose. If they were too easy to mount, they'd also be too easy to rot and fall off.

Super bass!!
I have a great set of earbuds for my Walkman MP3 player, but the foam pads on it were wearing out and started to rip apart. I was then using those earbuds without any pads and the music was totally lacking in power and the deep, rich bass that I so loved was virtually gone. I also had to turn up the volume on the player much higher than I would normally have it set at to get the same amount of volume. I began thinking that those foam pads were what my my music sound so great. I didn't know if you could buy those replacement pads anywhere (I've never seen them in stores) so I decided to look for them on Amazon. I was so very happy that there were several foam pad sets available. I bought this paticular set and it arrived quite quickly. I put a pair on my earbuds and what a difference!!! I got my deep bass response and overall dynamics back again!!! I was also able to turn the volume down again to the level that I used to have it on. If you have a pair of ear buds that do not have foam pads (and most of them that you buy today do not) then get a set of these pads and put them on your earbuds. You'll be amazed at the incredible improvement in sound quality!!! This is definitely a worthwhile purchase and for such a low price, you realy can't go wrong.

Works as advertised
I bought these to protect my Philips In-Ear Headphones Extra Bass SHE2650/28, which unfortunately lost its rubber covers. At first I thought the headphones' round profile would make this impossible, but the foam covers actually fit well. They're snug and make my headphones stay in my ears better than the original covers. Fitting them on is a bit delicate and not for people with big, thick fingers, but the covers do stretch just enough to allow you to apply them. Here's how I did mine:1. Fluff out the foam covers. You may want to use something thin and blunt like the eraser end of a pencil by pushing it into the opening a little.2. Wipe off the earpiece of the headphone.3. Push the earpiece into the cover's opening such that PART of the earpiece is covered by PART of the cover in the way it's supposed to fit. It does not have to be a big part; a 1/4 or 1/5 is enough. Once you're done, hold the part of the cover in place with a finger. The key here is to provide a starting point.4. Here's the delicate part: working from the starting point, tug the lip of the cover opening up and around the earpiece. Be careful to grab just the lip and not the other side of the cover. Work your way around the earpiece until it's covered.

simple fix
These earbud covers are a simple and good idea. I have a habit of losing earbuds, so I buy the less expensive type. the covers that come with these are very cheap and don't always survive being stretched over the buds. These covers are stronger and will "upgrade a less expensive pair. they are comfortable and stand up to the installation stretch. this saves me money in the long run. I'm very happy with them!

Adequate
The earbud covers are made from a very light weight inexpensive material and the center holes are small, so that they tear easily when trying to put them on. I did tear a few of them, but I got them on and thay seem to work OK. For the price, they are functional. I'll have to see how long they actually last with more usage.
