So, I bought this hat for my brother in-law because he spends a lot of time out in the heat and humidity working in his garden. If you have not lived in Ohio the humidity makes you feel ten times hotter. It is an excellent hat and to my surprise my brother in-law loves it. My family liked the hat so much that I bought two more, one for my brother and one for my husband. I will say that this hat is not the cheapest nor is it the most expensive. I decided to purchase this hat because of the reviews and the price was some where in the middle. This hat is great and I would suggest if you want to keep cool when you spend time outside in the heat this is a no brainer! I am now thinking about buying my sister one because she owns two homes and works in her flower gardens a lot.

Wore it for the first time to the lake yesterday. Because of the chin strap, the wind didn't blow it off, but it tried hard. Love the wide firm brim which kept me from getting my face and back of my neck sun-burned. It is light weight and fold-able, like it says. I received it folded in half in the package when it arrived, and you'd never know because the crease disappeared right away. The only drawback to this hat is that I wish it came in the color white too.

I really like this hat! Brim is wider than expected - that's a plus since I live in the desert. The style is unique (in a good way) from what I normally see. Easy to adjust to fit my head and the venting is a great feature in the heat. I took off one star because I haven't been able to get the creases out from where it was folded. The crease makes the hat look a little off but it's a minor issue compared to all of the other great features of the hat.

Brim is almost too big, but it covers fantastic, Face, Neck, and most of shoulders are covered, no hot cover on your neck. Great for Flats fishing in Fla.Has chin strap so it won't blow off. Does Not work Well in strong wind, wants to catch too much wind.

my hat was packaged like the other reviews stated, folded and VERY HEAVILY CREASED! i had to give it a very heavy steaming with my clothes steamer and it nearly sits right now. i expect it to relax even more. After so many complaints i would think they would start packaging these differently. it should still serve its purpose for vacation though.

It's a nice sun hat, but I wear size 8 and this hat is smaller than that. It will adjust downward from it's maximum. Don't buy it if you wear size 8.

My hat arrived folded first in half from side to side then folded front to back along the seams. So there was a crease in the middle of the wide brim, blocking my side view. So I had to return the hat.Note, I waited a week before reviewing the hat to see if the crease lessened.I have another hat with narrower a brim that arrived folded front to back and then rolled to avoid crease in the front and back, so that is what I expected from this hat.

I needed a really wide brinmed hat that would fit my big head (I’m a woman and most women’s hats are too small for me). It isn’t fancy but it’s durable and does the trick. I wear it swimming and out and about. You can fold it, roll it up, whatever.
