Needs frequent lubrication.No safety feature for remote door opening.I had to create my own bumper to stop the rear door from hitting the bike rack when I forget it is there.

The carrier feels solid; we've loaded it with 3 heavy bikes without problems. Two handles allow you to swing away the rack (for use of a hatch or tail-gate), or to fold it up. Both handles work well and actuate with a solid action. The carrier does its job, and we would purchase one again.

We purchased the rack just in time for a road trip vacation and it worked great. Easy to mount and sturdy. The levers make it very easy to lower the rack with all bikes mounted. We could get into the hatch-back anytime with out struggle.

Very easy to install and use. Securely holds my bikes while driving. It does wobble a bit but that is to be expected. I solved the issue by wrapping duck tape around the piece that slides into the hitch.

Metal near the pivot point is beginning to tear on the first use. Now I am stuck in Montana and will be forced to buy whatever I can find to get home. I should have known better. Carrying 2 adult and 2 kids bikes.
