6" 150 mm English / Metric black chrome, "high contrast" machinist ruler with markings .5mm, mm 1/32" and 1/64"

This ruler is very easy to read, white numbers and lines on black background

I play guitar and bass and like my instruments in top-notch condition and playability. I also really enjoy helping others keep their guitars set-up properly. This requires accurate measuring tools with very small increments that one can see well. I have two versions of 6" rulers from this seller. One is this one, which measures in inches and then mm on the flip-side. The other measures in 32s and 64s on the flip-side, which is a very common set of measurements that luthiers use. The print on these rulers is amazing in how it stands out, and makes these rulers very easy use. I don't have to squint very much to see the measurements. I will need some calipers soon, and I will check with this seller first from here on Amazon because of the experience I have had with the two rulers I have purchased. It just seems like a lot of thought went in to an otherwise simple device to make it as user-friendly as possible.

Fantastic ruler, very clear printed increments that are extremely durable. This guy has been an everyday carry for me at work now for a few months and the marks have shown no signs of fading and are still clear straight to the edge. On the "0" side of the ruler it is ground flat at the mark like a machinists rule which is very useful for measuring. I've even used this for prying and scraping small things several times and it looks brand new

Great ruler. High contrast and easy to read but it's not a solid black as pictured, it's more like old style case hardening where multiple colours can be seen depending on how the lighting is being reflected but the overall effect is a dark background to the white markings meaning the readability is fantastic unlike many metal rulers. I purchased both the 6" and 12" versions and definitely recommend these rulers.

Nice rule, except there is a sharp burr on one edge of it.

After watching videos on YouTube about how to manually check and change steps in my 3D printer I bought this. It is very nice and made to last. It feels great in the hand and the numbers are easy to see.
