POUND HD Link Cable for Original Xbox

Fantastic item for those wishing to do a bit of retro gaming but struggling to connect an Xbox to a modern TV. No issues experienced by myself.

Does exactly what it's supposed to

Simplist solution for hooking up an OG Xbox to a HDMI TV. I'm using it with a soft modded PAL Xbox so I can access the higher resolutions available. If your using this cable with an un-modded PAL xbox it will still work, but it wont look any better than a composite cable.

This works so so well. Very happy

Makes it easy to connect but also unleashes the higher resolutions. The Xbox can l natively output 480p, 720p and 1080i for games that support it. I have a handful of original games in 480p I'm replaying, looking for some in 720 but 1080 apparently lags and tears.

Produces wavy/diagonal/vertical lines across the screen & adding power typically makes this worse - this is NOT a console issue as alternatives don't have this issue. Colours are awful compared to cheaper alternatives for 1/5th of the price. Distorts heavily on PAL, so the only feasible way to use it is in NTSC modes (where it still distorts, just less often). The only good thing about it is the low input delay compared to alternatives, but in literally every other way the cable is subpar to the cheapest alternatives on the market. The only solution to half of the issues I've seen involves cutting wires inside the cable to make it rely solely on external power but I paid £30 for convenience, not additional work... If I didn't live on the opposite side of the world I would return it. Oh well.

This cable works fine if you have xbox versions 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3. If you have v1.4 and higher you will get inteference

使用テレビはハイセンスのA6800です。 このケーブルで初代XBOX用は3本目です。 最初に買ったSRPJのケーブルは補助電源が付いていないのでまともに映らず。 ２番目に買ったLiNKFORは使えましたが最終的に720pや1080p出力になるだけでハード側の認識ではAVケーブル扱いです、画面も滲んだりジャギが目立ちはっきり言って汚いですアスペクト比も変えられません。 値段的に中間の本ケーブルですが出力解像度はゲームに依存します480pでも前述のなんちゃって1080p出力より遙かに綺麗です。 テレビ側で4：3に変更できるので正確なアスペクト比でゲームがしたい自分にはベストなケーブルでした。

Calidad excelente para Xbox, en ps2 como la nativa es diferente optaría por un upscaler tipo Ossc, pero este producto saca una calidad parecida como cuando en un Xbox One juegas a juegos soportados de XBOX.

Fonctionne parfaitement, mais important : si vous avez un écran noir ou l'image qui saute(soucis que j'ai eu),il vous faut en + du branchement hdmi , le brancher en micro usb(il y a une entrée sur l'adaptateur) et usb sur la tv , et la ça fonctionne sans problème.

I previously used the composite hookups through a cheap ONN Walmart converter at first. The text was horribly blurry and the colors/images were so cloudy, it was like a fog was over everything that made edges blurred and colors dulled. Dark rooms were impossible to see in, I had to turn my TV brightness to max. The OG cable was extremely thick and clunky, this is so much neater and compact, 1/3 of the size. This worked immediately out of box, even before I followed the instructions to adjust my XBOX video settings, which I did do eventually. Now the title screen for Prince of Persia is so CRISP and the borders of the text are SOLID! Improved colors on the temple loading screen also, I can actually see details I didn't know were there before! The game is so much more playable as bars and footholds used to be so blurry they blended into everything - parkour was a nightmare guessing game. I can actually see where I'm going now, everything is much more defined. I'm going to go for the PS2 version of this cable now since I can't read any text on the signs in those games.
